Alexapure Go Water Filtration System 28 oz Sport Bottle

I purchased one as a gift and ended up getting one for myself! Tap water is a no-no, due yo taste, and carrying my daily water into work with me was impossible! So many bottles, a waste of money and plastic! Now I'm able to drink all the water I need and it tastes great!! The poor reviews seem unfair as they miss the point. -This bottle does greatly improve the taste of my tap water.-No, it doesnt taste any better than bottled water, but the point is to not buy and trash a million plastic bottles.-you dont have to sqeeze the life out of the bottle to drink, just a slight squeeze and then drink as you would from a normal straw. You dont have to turn the bottle up. Anyone who has a problem with this bottle must be one of those crazy over actors from as seen on tv adds. You know, the ones who have troubles using regular blankets vs. Snuggies.-Ive had no problems with leaks. I throw it in my purse and take it every where!Buy it.

The materials are not very good quality. The plastics feel cheap. Drinking from this bottle means drinking in the intensely plastic taste. I think it does the job for outdoor adventures or emergencies. But it wasn't worth the money for me since I bought it for daily use (to filter my water at work) and I really don't like drinking from it. It's in the very back of our pantry probably getting moldy.

Let's just say, be careful how you tell people in this day and age how you actually use this thing... Squeeze and suck. Not being derogatory here, but that is how it works. Fill it up with tap water, tilt at a 45 degree angle, squeeze the bottle, and suck the straw. It does make city water drinkable, and gives you a work out of sorts. I load ice first, then water. It is not insulated however. Oh, and leave the straw open and upright for a few seconds after you... suck, as it has a tendency to drip down the side of the bottle. This is sounding horrible I'll quit while I'm behind, LOL.

Bought this as an alternative to the BRITA filter that I have and had high hopes judging by the online reviews.BUT...1. The whole system of the water filter is badly designed and built. I mean, the idea is good of having to squeeze the bottle a bit to get filtered water out, but the problem is that the built quality is so bad that everytime you squeeze it the top goes off and water sprays out (don't do it in public when you have no other clothes that you can change into afterwards).2. Speaking of which, the plastic used in this product seems super cheap and smells so BAD! Its insane, the water inside the bottle gets affected by this as its starts to taste like plastic. Even after rinsing it out multiple times the whole bottle (and water!) still smells and tastes like plastic, which is not pleasant.3. The system is trash: you have use a lot of force when sucking the water out, which gave me a headache after doing it multiple times in a row. Idk what they did, but the whole thing just sucks and makes me not wanna drink water.To conclude: this product is a crime

It's a little clumsy, but does filter water. Its a little difficult to get the lid on. The gasket also came right out and had to be put back in, which wasn't the easiest. At least, I know have clean water while at work.

Great product, but the filters sometimes go bad for no particular reason. All I did was filter tap water, nothing hardcore. Luckily, one of the bottles has not had any problems. My brother gave up on this product after 3 defective units.

Little weird at first getting used to the sucking feature- but then you realize it's more of a squeeze and drink instead. If you're a "water bottle drinker"- use it on the fly, and fill up at any cold tap😏

Not at all impressed with the quality of the bottle and lid. The first one would not screw on correctly, I sent it back, received a replacement, it didnt work much better. And when you are squeezing the bottle like they tell you to, the lid partially pops off and looses irs seal. You have ro to rescrew the lid.

Not an easy drinks bottle to use at all. It is very difficult to drink from. Hardly any water comes through the straw and when you squeeze to try and get more water through it spills everywhere !! I would not recommend buying this bottle and it is very annoying that you have to try it first to know this defect. So with regards a refund they say in the leaflet( that comes with the bottle) that they will need to review your return on a case-by-case basis and you have to pay the shipping cost again to return it to the US 😡

The water tastes foul and bitter. Very expensive purchase and a total waste. Hoping for refund.

I have the AlexaPure pitcher, which is amazing, but I wanted something more mobile for work. I don't what is going on with this product, but the water has a distinct bitter taste to it when filtered through. I don't know if it's the plastic or the filter, but something is contaminating the taste. I also found that the filter somehow makes the water warmer, so cold water that goes into the bottle comes out lukewarm. It is also a pain to use because you have to squeeze and suck at the same time, which causes the water to leak. Just a weird miss from a usually great company.

I don’t use it much because the smell is quite overpowering, but I feel confident that in an emergency situation, I can have clean water.
