The Final Perseverance of the Saints: Exposition of Chapter 8:17-39 (Romans Series) Hardcover – November 1, 1975

I have to admit that I have not actually read this particular book in the series on Romans by Martyn-Lloyd Jones because I'm in a Bible study on Romans and we have not reached the 8th chapter as yet. The 5 stars are because I have read other volumes in the series on Romans and other books by Martyn Lloyd Jones and cannot imagine this one being anything but up to par with the rest of the books. Romans is so very, very important to understanding the salvation in which we stand! He is very thorough, easy to understand and my favorite author.

It’s worth every penny

Martyn Lloyd-Jones at his best. Loved this book, sad when it came to an end. Learned what "the final perseverance of the saints" means and why it is so important. Highly recommend.

As always, Martyn Lloyd-Jones does well, and Biblically, with his writings on Romans. He is one of the best Christian writers ever. He goes deeply into Romans 8:5-17 and gives clear understanding of what this chapter tells us.

OK book, but not life changing for me. I've had a lot of issues in my life at that time and was looking for help in various Christian literature; however, I have found little help if any at all. It would have been better if I've just read the Bible.
