My granddaughter did not want to give up a favorite dress (long sleeved knit) and asked if I could make it into something else!We cut it up the center back and used the this bias tape on the edges. It added stability to the knit and but was soft enough to be comfortable! The sleeves became the ties and the bias tape was just right for helping with that as well! It arrived quickly and there is enough for other projects!

I'm very happy with this bias tape! It's a traditional double fold where one of the inner folds is longer than the other. I used it to bind the raw edges of a bag and I was really pleased with the weight - not too thick, not too thin. I had no issues sewing it on my old domestic Viking sewing machine. It did come in a plastic bag rather than rolled up as seen in the listing photo but that doesn't bother me, personally. I would, and will, purchase this bias tape again!

A family member had shoulder surgery and needed shirts to wear after the procedure. I used this bias tape to keep the fabric from unraveling after I cut the sleeves; then I added T5 snaps to the t-shirts. It worked beautifully. I was very please with the product.

This bias tape is 1/2" on the outside (outside of center-fold to edge-fold) but the inner flaps do not go all the way back to the inside of the center-fold. They only go about half-way to the center, so the inner layer of the bias tape is incomplete.I bought this exact Amazon item previously (this was a reorder) and the inner flaps went all the way to the inside of the center-fold, but it seems the seller may have changed suppliers or the supplier changed their product. I imagine this saves material and increases profit margin (?) but depending on your application this may be a problem. If nothing else, it is 1 layer less fabric near the edge of the covered seam.I am already looking for an alternative.Disappointing, the previously ordered product was a good price and great quality with full 1/2" width inside and out.

This bias tape is great! It is exactly as described. The tape is actually about 1" wide, but the edges have been pressed into the middle and then the whole thing was creased and pressed again so that when you actually sew it onto your project it's about 1/4" wide, which is perfect for me for finishing apron edges, bag edges, etc. The fabric is flexible and not bulky so it's easy to work with, but it's also opaque enough that you can't see the pattern of the fabric that you're edging underneath. This has saved me many hours of frustrating piecing. I'll definitely buy it again!Also, just a note, it doesn't come shipped on the spool that is shown in the picture. It is wound into a tight coil and shipped in a ziplock bag, but I'm sure that helps keep the shipping charges down, so I don't mind at all.

This bias tape is extremely great quality and works perfectly for my sewing projects! I'm very pleased and this is my second order, will be ordering more soon!
