These Capers Have A Nice Caper flavor
I like the flavor of these capers. I was worried after reading some of the reviews.I do not agree with those reviews, my order retained a good caper taste after soaking to remove excess salt the first time I used some.I thought it was the small salt cured peppercorn size ones I should be buying but I found these retained more flavor than the tiny ones I bought elsewhere. I am quite happy with my order.Yes the capers and salt are a little moist. I like them like that , I don’t want my capers dried up.They are expensive but in line with what I found elsewhere on the internet.

Probably wouldn't buy again
The capers were decent. They needed a LOT of rinsing to remove the salt, and they tasted fine. A recipe recommended I use this type of capers. I don't find them especially flavorful, any more than the typical caper in the grocery store or at Trader Joes, and the effort to remove the salt just adds more work. That said, they're fine but not amazing.

Packed in water as well as salt - not just salt!
See also update below.: Was disappointed to find that they're packed in water as well as salt. So they are saltier than those that are packed in just salt, and soggier than others I've tried and loved. Also, concerned about longevity given they're in water. That said, they were over a third of the price of the ones just packed in salt. Haven't used them in a recipe yet. Only rinsed a few and tried them upon arrival. And, due to the degree of intense and saturated saltiness, will plan to soak them longer than usual in an attempt to remove the excess.Update: they pale in comparison to the ones that aren’t packed with water. Once they’re soaked, they are soggy and have much less flavor - except that they’re still salty. No nice floral flavor to these. Not packed with flavor as ones I’ve gotten on Amazon (and no longer available in this size). Alas. Reduced from 4 to 3 stars. 3 stars only because of quantity and price, otherwise I’d give them 1-2 stars.

Salt-cured Capers are Great in Pasta and on Fish
I was introduced to 'Caperi in sale marino' by my Sicilian mother-in-law and have used them regularly for decades now. They are typically heftier than the nonpareil capers usually found at my grocery stores.Sometimes I soak and drain them to remove more salt, and at times I toss them back and forth from hand to hand to remove only some of the salt, depending on mood and recipe. They are a bit pricey, yes, ma non si trova questo bel sapore in nessun altro posto.

Delicious burst of flavor
I learned from “Vincenzo’s Plate” to use these with any seafood sautée with lemon. He advised not to use those that are packed in vinegar. That was great advice- these have a subtle burst of flavor to compliment lemon and seafood with pasta. Thank you Vincenzo!

FAR better than the jar capers found in grocery stores
Had only had salt-cured capers a few times before, usually in a restaurant setting. These have made our caper recipes much better. Used so far in piccata and as an add-in on pasta al olio. Would certainly buy again.

LEAKING!
The package was leaking when it arrived, so it is most likely contaminated since the seal was broken and $20 of wasted money since it's non-returnable.
