Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had a date last evening and he had said he likes anchovies on pizza and no pizza place around offers them any more.So I made 2 homemade pizzas one traditional anchovy pizza and the other one loaded. I made lots of points with those!!!

Great product, never use anything else

Two of three cans arrived in reasonable shape. One was dented and got anchovy oil not only the other two cans, but a paper box of laundry sheets as well. Also the interior of my mailbox and the stairs I set the package upon trying to figure out what was going on. Again the problem is not with the product, but amazon packaging. I have no idea how to resolve this as it's not a returnable item and I cannot find any other avenue within amazon.

absolutely delicious and a great bargain

While these anchovies are good, as good as any except fresh, they lose a star because once opened, the can can't be reclosed, so you need another receptacle for the unused anchovies. But, if you have a small jar (I use a mustard jar), you're in luck, because then you can put the leftover anchovies in the jar with some truffle scented olive oil, and later they will add wonderful flavor to your salads.

AS EXPECTED

Reasonable price, good taste, this is my third order of them in bulk. Use in salads, or just on some sourdough bread, great snack, as long as you're ok with the high sodium content, but that's true of all canned anchovies I've ever come across.
