The media could not be loaded. Like the fit. Look of the rounds. The fact they are similar to live stuff yet safe.

Very useful for dry firing.I keep them in the gun so, it looks to be loaded when it really is not.

They work perfectly, but they look like live ammo. The bullet part should be red or some color other than the silver like the cartridge.

These are excellent for training.

These .22 WMR snap caps would not feed in my Henry .22 WMR lever action 20" barrel rifle, despite repeated attempts. They would get lodged in the feed ramp and I would have to manually pry them out and dump them from the magazine tube. Live .22 Magnum cartridges would feed/fire/eject with no hiccups. Too light weight maybe? I tossed these snap caps in the trash can - too much trouble to return for the price. No star rating would be more accurate.

This is not for the ignorant to be scared of, like for a real bullet should with a very sensitive cap & powder & BIG surprise.....in fact, it's well worth the cost, allowing you to pull the trigger (safely) while handling your weapon and checking out your trigger performance (SET and RESET). So that's what you get for the purchase. Granted, you may not need more than one, but I suppose having a clip function check (safely) would be a good idea, too. By the way, a fired cartridge makes a good snap cap, if you have any laying around....cheaper, and softer metal too. Be safe!

Very satisfied with using these dummy rounds to check chamber ejections, magazine cycling and dry firing protection. Highly reccommend.
