Guaymallen Chocolate Alfajor with Dulce de Leche Sauce, 38 g / 1.34 oz (Pack of 40)

I order the white chocolate version of these from this seller every couple weeks. I gift them in a gift bag to my tattoo clients. These cookies are SOOOO GOOD!! The seller is phenomenal!! A couple orders ago, my box got hemmed up in customs. They took the package out of the shipping box, and it arrived all banged up. Even though this was not the seller's fault, they still have me a full refund after I sent them pictures.The seller always makes sure the package is secure, and safe. They respond very quickly to questions, and the cookies are always very fresh.

These alfajores brought back memories from 30 years ago when sharing an apartment with an Argentinian couple who introduced me to their culture. They are two chocolate cookies with dulce de leche and then dipped in black chocolate. They are rather sweet, but not overly sweet. I shared them with family and co-workers and they were a great success because they seem to be similar to moonpies, but healthier. I will be ordering again because they are individually wrapped and stay fresh for a long time. They are more like a dessert or small snack size treat - smaller than the American cookie. I recommend them to everyone wanting to learn about other countries snacks.

The cookies are okay-ish but there is an odd aftertaste that is unpleasant. It makes me think of artificial vanilla

The majority of these alfajores did not tasted good. They had an alcohol flavor and not fresh although the expiration date was January 2025. I threw away the last 10 remaining. Sadly I gave the others away and ate about 3. I was very disappointed of the flavor. I believe... If you are Argentinian and you are proud of your food, this totally can make you feel embarrassed. I'm not sure I'll buy this product here again.

It has a good taste but it's not as sweet as other afajors or as much as I like. I like the Jorgito and Havana better.
