Used other in store falafel mixes, but this is da bomb! Genuine mediterranean flavor. Highly recommend!

My local store has been out of this item for a long time.I was happy to be able to find it! The falafel mix ie awesome. I do have a problem with the high sodium though. I often wonder why consumers can’t add the salt they want. Many of my friends who are in their eighties are on low sodium diets. I truly believe you would have many more sales if there was less salt.

The Casbah brand of Falafel mix is by far my favorite mix for easy, at home falafels. You can make them traditional size, mini shapes for hors d'oeuvres or sometimes I will make the pattie shape for a great veg burger. I received an included coupon for future purchases as well.

I’ve had a lot of falafel in my lifetime. I’ve been trying to find a great mix to use at home and this is the least favorite of the ones I’ve tried. The texture is more like a powder so there’s no graininess or ability for the batter to become filled with air bubbles really. It’s almost like pancake mix. The flavor is also really harsh. It has a terrible flavor of hay or grass and it almost sounds like you’re eating something out of the back of a barnyard. I would not recommend this product to anyone else.

This Casbah falafel is flavorful, and easy to make. The 6 boxes came packed in a sturdy cardboard box and arrived quickly.

Not great. I've had better mixes. It was unpleasant and mushy. I'd rather have nothing at all.

Once a month we do falafelpalooza night at our house. This is the best tasting brand I’ve found. Their tabouli is equally as delicious!
