DO NOT BUY! An ice pack is better!
I was hoping for something a little more durable. These are cheap and flimsy with little pieces that fall off (it reminds me of what is inside a diaper to make it absorbent). I was going to try to return them, but I think it may be too late.

Amazing Product!!
A friend gave me some packages of Arctic Ease and it is the most amazing product I have ever used! I never write reviews on Amazon.com but this time I felt I had to - I just wish I could give it 10 stars. It worked incredibly well on my sprained ankle - I was back running with no pain after only two days of use. And my husband uses it to wrap his "bad" knee before his exercise routine and finds he is able to complete his entire workout without any pain, or lingering pain after the workout. We even gave a wrap to a pregnant neighbor who had an outbreak of hives on her ankles and she had immediate relief from the burning and itching, and when she removed the wrap after an hour or so the hives were completely gone. The wraps and pads can be reused several times and they can be worn comfortably for several hours at a time - which is something you can't do with an ice pack due to the potential of overcooling of the skin and skin damage. Plus they can be cut to any appropriate size and as they adhere to the skin so easily, no fasteners are required. Put away the ibuprofen and do yourself a favor and keep several of these products in your home and your gym bag to use whenever you have a sprain, muscle strain or joint pain. I'm going to give some to my Mom to try for her arthritis and I'm sure she'll get immediate relief. I'm so happy it is available through Amazon.com and I just ordered several more packages of both the wraps and the pads.
