I wish I could give it 0 stars. After 16 years of having dogs with no fleas I moved to an area where they are prevalent. I put this on both of my dogs, following the directions carefully. After 7 days there was no decrease in the fleas. Internet research tells me that Fipronil is believed to be losing it's efficacy against fleas. I believe it. (I remember using Frontline, which is the original Fipronil product for fleas, for my dogs when I had a tick issue in 2005 or 2006. Not only did it not kill the ticks, but I found live, attached & engorged ticks directly on the site of application within a few days of application. I guess I should have assumed it would not be effective against fleas, also.) After a week of waiting fruitlessly for the fleas to die, I bathed my dogs with Dr. Bronner's peppermint castile soap, which killed the fleas on contact (and made the dogs smell like candy canes) and I am now waiting for a delivery of imadacloprid to see if that product still works.

I buy these in bulk, combine into one jar, then use a syringe to administer to dogs at .04mL per pound (132 lbs is the max pound rating; each vial is 4.02mL; ratio is .03mL per pound at this dosage, but I slightly increase to .04mL. Also, each dose lasts about 45-60 days, not 30. Saves a lot of money! Research this method on other online forums as well.As for the product itself, I've been administering pet armor on all three of my dogs for years with no issues. I live in MN and hike on the trails everyday with them, and never found a tick latched on. And this is after increasing their dosage intervals from 30 days to 45 days.

Love this product! Much cheaper than Frontline. Put it on my large dog last night for the first time. No reaction, no problems at all! Shipped out so quick I had it a day and a half later! So far, a great product! And much better price. I would recommend it to everyone.

The product changed formulation and it now stinks to high heaven. Using it on the dog is like sitting on a bus next to a person with a horrible case of BO.

Didn't really help my pups

This is a great product! It works reallyY well. I have used this for a few years now. I am legally blind so they are easy to put on. Just put them in one spot and that's it! No more putting on from neck to tail. They are great! I would recommend them to everyone. After all if you love you dog like your own human kids why not protect your 4-legged kids.

After applying this to my "tick-magnet" dog, I've removed several ticks that apparently bit then died.

Works just as well as the more expensive brands. I highly recommend it. We live in the country surrounded by woods, so it definitely gets put it the test. I works great !!!
