My daughter wanted to go really red and picked this out. I was afraid it would have more of an orangey tinge but it doesn't. It's a very deep, true red. It really lifts, too. Her hair is brown and I didn't want to bleach first, but you don't have to with this. It definitely comes out nice and red. After 3 weeks, it's still just as saturated. We will need to hit the roots again soon, but the color hasn't faded at all. Highly recommend this!

This hair dye has been my favorite ever since I found it. My hair is pretty dark, so I need to look for hair dyes that will work on my hair. This one has been the best. I didn't need to bleach my hair and the color is pretty.The only downside is how harsh the chemicals are when you start using it. Your eyes will water if the dye is too close to them, so be careful with that and do not use it in a small room without ventilation.Other than that, the hair dye is great, and it lasts for quite some time. I've had it for two months now and the color is still there just not as bright.

Followed the instructions to a T (been box dying for decades anyways) and read all the warnings, did everything correctly and thought I was good to go. Two hours later the process is complete and it didn't leave any color in my hair, not even a sheen of color. Just made it black (it was black/brown previously) If i wanted it black I could've achieved the same thing with $6 black dye. Really sad as I was looking forward to a nice, pretty green and bought this for a special occasion. Also smelled REALLY strongly like chemicals in a way I've never experienced before, hurt my nose/throat and made my eyes water.

I recently found this in the particular color that I wanted. I love it! The color holds nicely and it isn't as harsh as other brands. My only downside is it is sometimes difficult to find my shade in stock.

definitely not the color that’s advertised on the box. i followed the directions and left it on for 45 minutes, but it came out SO. BRIGHT. (pictures don’t accurately capture it lol.) i thought it would be a deep burgundy color based on the reviews, but i guess my hair just lightened a lot more than i thought it would even though i started at a virgin level 2/dark brown color. if you’re looking for a BIG change, definitely get this, but avoid if you’re looking for something more subtle. very easy to apply and use though!

This blue does note ear, covet black and blue covers all bleach and looks amazing!

I've used this color before and really liked it. I have pretty dark brown natural hair so it's hard for me to find boxes that make it lighter and I always anticipate it coming out pretty dark with a hint of color.For some reason this time it REALLY lifted. I chose this color because I liked the darker way it turned out on me before. Although it's a bit brighter and colder than I was anticipating, it's still a nice color. Just inconsistent with previous uses and not quite what I was after.

I use this to touch up my roots and hair, and it works pretty well. I have thick, long, black Asian hair, and it always turns my hari the most gorgeous shade of red. I always apply bottom to top, to prevent hot roots (when the roots are lighter than the rest of your hair). It works well, is good for the money. The only thing is it stains-- so use petroleum jelly and wear clothes you don't care about. Be careful with surfaces and it WILL stain the grout if you're not careful. I am a total amateur when it comes to doing my own dye, but I am very picky. And it's a good product in my book!
