Easy and it works
I open a can when I put on my makeup and clean the brush every time I put it back into the caddy. I don't know if you are supposed to do that every day, but I do. My brushes now stay very clean. There is a rubbery sponge in it and when you lift the sponge, you can see the dust it removed from the brushes.
