This is probably the best product you can buy for your dogs, joints and ligaments. Especially for large dogs like mine. I like the fact that it's all natural and a reasonably priced product. I've been using this for over 10 years and will continue using it for all my dogs. It really works great.

The media could not be loaded. Like many, I’ve read a lot of reviews and saw very similar stories where dogs were kind of slow and many lethargic much like mine who is a 12 1/2 year-old Lab-Chow mix. His brother passed away a year ago, but before he did amongst many things, he had really bad arthritis and struggled, moving around at all. While this dog is tougher, he too is slowing down and on days would have issues just hopping on the couch or moving around and very stiff on some days and not even eating his food because you can tell he was in some sort of pain and even on nice cool days, you would see the panting which is a clear indicator that they are feeling discomfort or pain. I have tried things like Antinol but that stuff is very expensive and I didn’t personally find it as effective, although it does work. I have come across this mixture, which is a very fine powder with a fishy smell. But after trying it, I can say it delivers on expectations. I will also extend on the reviews from others that you have to give this time to work. My dog is about 72 pounds and it took a good three months for it to really take effect. The manufacturer says this too. Many days I would have to give prescription Galliprant to aid in inflammation. As this stuff started to really kick in, I am giving less and less of his prescription anti-inflammatory medication. He moves around with a little bit of a trot in his step, he hopped up on the couch very easily, he is focused, and looks very comfortable overall. But let me say it one more time let this stuff work its magic in due time. You will get to the point where you will literally think nothing‘s happening and all of a sudden you’ll start to realize that your pet moves excessively well, but you just slowly got used to it and it may not seem like that. Excellent product and much cheaper than some of its competitors…

This stuff worked a miracle on our five-year old rescue beagle-terrier-lab mutt (long body, short legs). She suffered a torn ligament in her hind leg and had TTA surgery in 2020. She also has arthritis and is on Dasoquin. We were told 80% of dogs who need TTA on one leg, will need it on the other in 2-3 years.The surgeon recommended fish oil to help her joints after surgery, and we added it to her food, but still noticed her limping on her non-repaired leg after playing or when getting up after sleeping. A TTA recovery group suggested green lipped mussel and I thought I would give this a try.What a difference! I noticed her limping went away after a few weeks. We’ve had her on this for about a 18 months now, and the results are amazing! She NEVER limps after playing. She is quick to get up out of her bed from a nap. It’s like the TTA and arthritis never happened! I have no worries letting her play chuck it in the yard, or run around the house with a toy.Yes, this stuff stinks, but she likes it. I don’t find the smell lingers in the pantry like others do. The small container gave us two scoops a day for over a year, so for the price, it’s way cheaper than the fish oil and Dasoquin. We’re going to drop the fish oil and see if it impacts her health, and then maybe the Dasoquin too!

I'd like to address this first: You will get a jar that appears to be half full: it's packaged by weight and the powder will settle.Onward: I didn't specifically get this for my 10 lb, 10 yr old dogs joints; that was a bonus. I read another review where it helped their pet suffering CHF which my pooch also has (plus arrhythmia and enlarged heart) and felt he'd last maybe another month (comfortably) at the time I purchased this. He has been on this for 2 months now and although he will never be 'well' this, I feel, has been beneficial. He only coughs a bit during high humidity or raining and has only had one episode of nearly passing out due to his arrhythmia versus it being a weekly event. He had been on Lasix and another heart med for over a month previous to adding this but that seemed to just keep him 'alive'..not functioning well. Now his lungs are clearer, he has better color and more cognizant. I feel he's still around mostly due to this product and I give him liquid CoQ10 as well. I continue to give him his prescription meds along with this product in case anybody thinks I'm not being a responsible pet parent.I can't say how this product would work for your pet so I'm not offering any advice. Just a testimonial.I believe due to my experience that natural products are more beneficial. I'm convinced we gained more precious time with our furry child adding this to his diet. Due to the fact he's 10 lbs and I use one tiny scoop, I'm not sure which will last longer. No matter, I know it's made him feel better and myself as well. I hope this product works as well for your pets specific needs if you decide to give it a try. Try not to focus on the off putting smell, LOL.If per chance I ever get another dog...I would get this to add to their diet for many reasons.Update: Darn, this product lasted longer then my buddy (used 1/2). I gave the rest to a friend who's dachshund has immunity issues. She said he has no problem eating it with his food either.

Use this for my GSD to help with keeping his joints strong. Strong fishy smell.
