Awesome book!
I took physiology in undergrad, and I’m applying to graduate school now. I wanted a refresher since it was one of my hardest classes, and thought this book would be an interesting way to refresh. I’m impressed by the size and quality of this book! It’s definitely more of a workbook than coloring book, some diagrams are large and great to color but most are smaller and have lots of detail. It has textbook information on one side of the page and corresponding diagrams on the other side. Personally I think having an in-depth explanation followed by a visual that you can interact with by coloring or labeling is a great way to understand complex topics. I recommend this to anyone wanting to break up a boring textbook with some great diagrams you can color

Coloring book to help students grasp concepts in associated textbook Netter's Essential Physiology
This is a thick coloring book -- 320 pages -- intended to be used with the textbook _ Netter's Essential Physiology_. By coloring in the pictures and labelling the parts, you should have a better understanding of the information covered, by physically coloring in and labelling the pieces of each concept. Each area covered is a double-page spread:, on the left a synopsis of the material with instructions for coloring in the diagram;on the right, the diagram itself with review questions. (Answers are to the left). Some of the pictures to color are more elaborate and more like a classical anatomy drawing; many are quite simple diagrams of an equation or process.High-level table of contents, which follows that of _Netter's Essential Physiology_:Chapter 1: Cell Physiology and HomeostasisChapter 2: Nerve and Muscle PhysiologyChapter 3: Cardiovascular PhysiologyChapter 4: Respiratory PhysiologyChapter 5: Renal PhysiologyChapter 6: Gastrointestinal PhysiologyChapter 7: Endocrine PhysiologyEach chapter has coloring spreads for a number of detailed concepts; for example the first chapter on Cell Physiology has:Cell StructureCell MembraneDiffusionOsmosis and the Importance of Osmolarity in Fluid HomeostasisCellular Transport: Primary Active TransportCellular Transport: Secondary Active TransportIon ChannelsWater ChannelsIntroduction to HomeostasisBody Fluid CompartmentsUsing the Indicator-Dilution Method to Determine Fluid Compartment SizesSodium-Potassium ATPase Pumps and the Intra- and Extracellular EnvironmentsStarling ForcesSignal Transduction: G Protein-Coupled Receptors and Second MessengersSignal Transduction: Second Messenger Systems: Calcium-CalmodulinSignal Transduction: Nuclear ReceptorsAccess to an eBook version is included, which shows the coloring pages properly completed and has the associated text and review questions/answers. (Code for access is inside front cover). If you are interested in medical illustration, very few of the drawings are derived from Frank Netter's. Some are from Dr. Carlos A. G. Machado, but most are unsigned.

It's okay
Got for AP2, thought it would help but it really didn't. I did better printing off my own and label and color other images I needed for studying.

Used this to help in class putting a mental image to what we are learning and it helps by adding another study strategy.

Good book but...
I expected to get a coloring book where I can extend my knowledge about Physiology in a relaxed easy way. I am not a med student, so it was too overwhelming for me with a lot of text and small pictures.
