SkechersMen's Go Walk Arch Fit - Togpath Sneaker

This pair of Navy Skechers Performance Go Walk Arch Fit - Togpath slip-on's is a replacement to the ruby red Skechers (1 1/2" heel) my wife bought for me a couple of years ago. The Togpath are well-padded, the arch support is well placed, overall stability is good even with 1 3/4" heel. (Product, delivery, overall experience - all good) (Yes, ruby red slip-on's, there's no place like home!)

I am a Skecher convert. I walk miles everyday and really prefer (need) a great walking shoe. When I heard and read about this shoe, I had to try. Unfortunately, they do not work for me.1. SIZE: A couple of reviews say that you should order a size larger. I am typically a 7.5 to 8 so felt safe with an 8. Mistake.2. FEEL: The initial feel is good. The shoe does feel like it has a higher heel end. Noticeable but you can probably overcome this.3. HEEL: The back end of the upper heel is too high and digs into the Achilles tendon. Perhaps this will lessen with time.I still believe Skechers produces a great shoe. Unfortunately, this model did not work for me.

First, these shoes fit very well. I normally wear a size 10-and-a-half. But depending upon the type of shoe and/or the manufacturer, sometimes I need a size 10, and sometimes a size 11. I ordered these shoes in size 10-and-a-half, and was delighted to discover that they fit like a glove. Second, they appear to be very well made. Third, I need shoes that provide good arch support, and although I would have liked a little more in that area, the arch support is nonetheless pretty good. I liked the shoes so much that I purchased a second pair.

I tried 11 which is my normal Sketcher size. I then tried 101/2. Neither worked for me because they seemed to force my body weight to the front of my foot, not the three point contact for which I had hoped. Returned them.

My husband has flat feet, and being a large man, he needs good arches. He has always been loyal to another top tennis shoe maker. But when he tried these, he can’t stop raving about them. And he tells everyone about these shoes. I believe I will be ordering more soon, just to get another color.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MODEL!!!The design of thick spongy insole is no good. Each step you sink down inside the shoe, making your heel and ankle scrape up and down. This constant motion wears out the inside of the shoe. In under 3 months of little time wearing, they are worn out to the point of being unwearable. The outsole is hard with a very thick spongy insole. Bad blisters on back of my ankles. Horrible design! For years I’ve been wearing Skechers GoWalk shoes and have always been happy with them

I love the arch support... you can feel it immediately. I bought a pair of size 10 which would be a normal case up sneaker and it was too loose front to back. My foot was moving around and the heal section was very annoying. Returning those. Bought another pair size 9.5 which fit better front to back, but seem a bit narrow compared to other sketchers Ultra GOsize 10 I have. Those fit great with heavy socks. Might try thinner socks for the Go Walk 9.5 size. I'll update this down the road if I keep them.

I'm not sure how to describe the feeling I get when wearing these shoes. With the original insoles, I felt off balance all around, almost slightly dizzy. The thick cushioned insoles were not quite firm enough for full support ( I clock in right ar 200 lbs) and caused me to feel as if there was a slight wobble all around. Additionally I I felt as if I was being raised up in the back, and left leaning downward towards the toe. I tried replacing the insoles , (easily removable) with a store bought version, which helped with the wobbliness, but still felt the toward tilt.At the end of the day, after several unsettling attempts at wearing, and a fear of stumbling, these will sit in the closet...waiting for the next thrift store donation trip.You may have different results then I did, but I can not recommend these shoes...or this series, if they are all designed the same.

What you expect from Sketchers, good fit well made and totally comfortable. Love em

I am on my feet all day when at work. Was suffering a lot from foot pain and weraing these has been a massive improvement

Brilliant shoes

I suffer (or rather, used to suffer) from Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes have got rid of it fully in under a month. I’d given up all hope of it going, but now I can walk pain-free for the first time in years. Fantastic! Thank you, Skechers!
