Nice big sturdy pan for under the new water heater
Was a nice big pan for underneath my new hot water heater. Amazon shipped it fast, so I didn't have to wait(2 weeks!) for the big Hardware box stores to ship one to me .

flimsy but work great
Used in chicken coop to catch food they throw to ground, under feeders. For that purpose, this was great price the the flimsiness didnt matter. I cant say how it would be for intended purpose under a water heater but they look like would work just dine.

Good value, easily bendable to accommodate pipes or other obstacles.
My 40 gallon was easy to bear hug and set down into the tray leaving a clean 1.5" gap on all sides. A local builder reminded me that shallow pans like this are only window dressing to meet code or catch small drips from the cleaning valve (which you can easily cap with a garden hose end cap), not going to help you if the heater springs a leak. But if you just need compliance and peace of mind it's an inexpensive part and very easy install. There's no place for a drain to go in my installation so the hole in the side was effectively sealed with 2 pieces (inside and out) of common HVAC metal tape.
