feels and looks good once i do bronzer and mix in a yellower base foundation... gives a gray cast - but still usable and would recommend for lighter skin tones.

I was hoping this would be like another brand I bought at Sephora but it is way too light in color.

I want to preface this review by saying that I am Caucasian with medium beige skin complexion. I've been really wanting to try this cushion foundation trend for a while, and since I was offered the chance to review this BB cushion at a discount in exchange for my honest review, I finally had no excuse not to.I have tried a few Asian complexion products over the years, and generally the trend in Asia is to be lighter than you naturally are, so every time I've received a foundation or BB cream I was immediately looking into the reflection of a ghost. This BB cushion, in the darkest shade, actually matched my skin tone while still giving off a whiter cast (generally when you go lighter you get an unhealthy grey tone) so I thought that was pretty impressive.I found that the coverage was very light, but that's to be expected with a BB cream over a more traditional foundation. I found that it was completely weightless, and had a surprisingly matte finish for there being an SPF 50 and being from Asia where the trend is to have dewy skin. I personally like the finish and it did not get oily throughout the day, so that was a big plus for me.What impressed me most was the packaging. It came in such an elegant golden box with the compact and refill nestled securely inside. It will be such a treat for you to receive it and get the chance to open that beautiful package. After reading the product description on this, I was a bit skeptical as it didn't look like it would match my complexion at all. Yet, it claimed that it blends in to match your color. Needless to say, I was very excited to see if this was going to turn into another disappointing purchase.When the product arrived (it was packaged well and wasn't damaged during the shipping process) it was in this elegant looking white box. I opened it up, and as you can see in the picture I posted, it came with the compact with the foundation in it as well as one refill (I was super hoping this stuff worked at this point - knowing I wouldn't have to buy foundation for a while if it did).Seeing the foundation in person made me a little nervous as it looked SO much darker than on the product page. It was now or never. As I started applying it to my face it was like watching a magician in action. I was literally watching myself apply a deep beige/bronze foundation to my face (my face is a light beige right now as I haven't gotten much color yet from the beach) and it was matching my color COMPLETELY. Not only did it match my color but it corrected all of my little facial blemishes and evened out my color. I don't know what else to say except that I love this foundation. Once the refill is gone, I will definitely be buying some more.I added 2 pictures trying to show the difference in color between my arm and the foundation. In the second picture, that has the applicator on my arm, I had applied the makeup to my arm to try and show that it didn't come out the deep beige that it looks like in the container. I can't stress enough how amazed with this product I am!This foundation WAS offered to me at a discount in return for my unbiased review. Just for the record, I would gladly pay full price for this, which is exactly what I plan to do when the refill runs out! Yes, I was THAT impressed with this! All the reviews I leave are 100% honest and written with other buyer's interests in mind. I know that I use various product reviews when I choose MY Amazon purchases and would want nothing less then honesty so that I can make educated buys.
