really yummy plants, strong summer squash and cucumbers
This was great project with my three year old. The Easter bunny delivered this is April, we sprouted then inside and created a veggie garden outside in May to transplant them. The green beans are nice, the squash took off really well and they taste great, we were already harvesting them in June. The cucumbers have recently also taken off quickly and the one we've eaten so far was pretty yummy. The watermelon are slow but have recently started to bloom. As for the radishes and carrots, I'm not sure what happened but they didn't take too well to transplanting outside, neither have grown and instead we seem to have some sort of pea plant taking over instead and we have no idea where it came from. This was totally worth it to allow my daughter to see where our food comes from and the reward of all that long waiting.

Fun project, tasty veggies!
We bought these kits to put in our kids Easter baskets, and surprisingly they were more excited about these garden kits than the candy. The kit comes with everything you need, including the soil and a little log to record watering, plant growth, etc. The quality of the materials is great. I'm not exactly a green thumb, but all the plant starts grew quickly and lived to be transplanted in the garden where they really took off. We've been enjoying lots of tasty radishes, carrots, green beans, squash, and cucumbers. The kids are learning lot about gardening and enthusistically eat the vegetables they grew. The only thing that didn't produce for us were the watermelons, however, we live in a northern climate and didn't anticipate getting melons. This is a great value and fun family activity that gets your kiddos outside.

Great little gift
I gave these bunny gardens to our grandchildren for Easter this year. To my surprise, they have harvested beans, radish, squash and the cucumbers are ready to sprout (no luck with the carrots and watermelon) from this little starter set (and later transplanted in their yard)!! What a fabulous introduction for these children to learn about seed to table and the benefits of taking care of their little gardens. Great little gift!

Cute and fun kit.
Super cute and fun. Everything you need. Gets kids excited about growing veggies. Seeds grow well. Fun measuring chart. One star off because it's pretty expensive for what you get.

Great spring gift for kids
My kids got these Sunny Side Up gardens in their Easter baskets this year. They are so adorable as spring gifts. The seeds that come with it are varieties that the kids were actually very excited about, and it was neat that it came with the growth chart and plant marker sticks- everything you need really is in there. Almost all of the seeds we planted germinated, in fact, some of them came up much quicker than I expected.
