Sophie is a very demanding16-yr-old cat who has kidney disease. She insists on a variety of both brand & flavor cat food. It must be pate. Her vet says feed her whatever she'll eat (she refuses to eat special diet food). I try to feed her the best food I can, that she likes. Hound & Gatos has been a big hit with her. So far she has liked every flavor I've offered. Some flavors are more moist than others. She likes soup consistency food, so I add a little water to the thicker flavors. Hound & Gatos is more expensive than most cat food, but it is worth the cost if she eats it. It's 98% meat, so it has the nutrition cats need. We'll keep trying new flavors.

I know that Hound & Gatos is good cat food, but my cat just didn’t like it. She is just opinionated, and she wants what she wants — and what she wants is Fussie Cat and Wellness. Sorry Hound & Gatos.

My cat loved this food for about a week then turned her nose up at it. Unfortunately, I still had eight cans left from the pack of twelve, so I would suggest buying just a few cans of this at a time.
