If you need a good upper body workout, try washing facecloths and rags in a bucket in the sink. Yes my washing machine broke and I'm waiting for the repairman to tell me if it can be fixed. Eight years without an issue until there was an error code and the washing machine wouldn't drain!!! So I got these gloves because my regular disposable gloves are no match for laundry detergent or bleach and the water gets inside the smaller gloves. These are nice and long so you can plunge your gloved hands into the water and move things around. These also worked well while I was scrubbing the rags clean. Whew! Gloves that are this strong are impressive when doing household tasks. As far as comfort goes, the XL fit me perfectly with a little wiggle room. I have trouble finding gloves that will fit me in general and these worked great. So if you normally get an XL in the disposable gloves, these might work for you. All my rags and facecloths are in the dryer happily getting ready for folding. I will say that doing manual labor like washing things by hand gives you an invigorating sense of accomplishment that you don't get from washing clothes and rags in the washing machine. If I had one of those rotating clotheslines like I had in Africa I would have happily hung up all the washed items and let them dry in the sun. Memories! These gloves are sturdy and heavier than ordinary rubber gloves. I ordered them because we recently had a broken pipe in our basement and I didn't trust "cleaning up the mess without extra protection." They are listed as being protective against chemicals and other irritants that one normally does not have to worry about in everyday cleaning. They lasted throughout the entire clean-up and my hands were 100% protected from anything that might have been in the water that leaked into the basement. I highly recommend these gloves for cleaning up messes that one cannot trust to be 100% safe to handle. FIVE STARS*****

Bought large and extra large sizes. Large was too small. My hand measurement was 4-3/8 from outside of my thumb to other side of hand with my thumb held close to my hand, not splayed out. According to their chart large should have fit just right. With the large pair, I could get my hand in but fit is too tight to be comfortable. I asked my wife who has small hands if they fit her, she said they fit well enough so we kept the large pair. Next ordered a extra large pair and those are huge, my hand is swimming in them, way to lose. I am keeping them, and, been using them to wash dishes for about a week, they are on the outer edge of usable since they fit so lose. So far they are holding up well and seam to be heat resistant, I can run the hot water "full hot" and it does not feel too hot if I place my hand in the water stream while holding a dish. Unless my wife likes the set I gave her "a lot" I will not re-order. My extra large is just too darn big.... BUT at least my hand is easy to remove when needed, that does count for something. This is the thing about Chinese made stuff, they almost never get sizing right. Their sizes do not get larger in linear progression. According to their size chart the large size should have fit me just right. Oh well. I will keep looking for better fitting just right gloves that are well made. ~

I was looking for a chemical resistant glove because I garden and use weed killer and other chemicals and wanted to protect my hands. These are really nice and fit perfect and will definitely buy more.

These gloves are great for cleaning. My hands feel well protected and the gloves are flexible and durable.

Excellent for washing dishes, great grip. Also perfect for all household chores. Excellent quality. They last a long time!

Good thick gloves

These rubber gloves were just right. The rubber was thick enough to protect but thin enough to keep the gloves flexible. I used these to clean an oven and they worked perfectly. Also very easy to get the hands in and out.
