Good Quality & Soft Sponge
This review is for the Viking Car Care Bone Grip Wash Sponge. I've been using this sponge for a few months now for washing my car, and I am very happy with it. The sponge is surprisingly very soft and very absorptive. This is a large sponge, so you can't really get into nooks & crannies. I still prefer using a wash mitt, because you can get into the nooks & crannies. For the times you need a sponge this is an excellent choice.

Great for exterior surfaces.
While I used to frequently wash my vehicles (I've owned a pickup truck and a few cars over the years) by hand, I've gotten lazy and just go to a spray booth car wash these days. But I won't pressure wash my motorcycle, and on a recent ride, had to ride through a veritable cloud of butterflies, and it left my bike a disgusting mess. This sponge was one of the supplies I got to clean the motorcycle and it worked great. The only gripe I could think of is you really can't scrub small nooks and crannies of a motorcycle with this sponge, but the advertisement made it clear that the sponge was large, so I won't ding the sponge for that.It still worked great to scrub off all that nasty bug viscera off my motorcycle, so this gets five stars from me.

Its all I use
These sponges are all that I use, buying a new one only because I'm repurposing the old one to stay on board the boat. I do not like mits at all. This sponge holds the soap and water, makes the soap suds like crazy. Dirt releases easily when dipping sponge in the bucket of wash, far more easily than microfiber wash pads or mits. They clean easily after use too, except they hold the suds so well, its hard to get the suds out. Using Meguire's Ultimate wash, I can actually feel the paint getting cleaner and wax adherence. The texture amazingly helps remove road tars and the nasty bug splats, so well, I rarely have to use the bug sponge.....and we got the bugs here (front end is destroyed in one day here). Mine last several years. They do get tears easily from washing around sharper edges such as windshield wipers, but care can minimize this. These "longevity" marks don't hurt a thing.

Good sponge
I was going to use this in my shower to dry up water but it is not that kind of sponge. Good for washing things probably, but not for absorbing lots of water. It has very tiny cells, good quality sponge. Just not what I wanted for the job I had in mind.

Kayak Sponge
Ok, seems weird to be reviewing a sponge, but for anyone who is into Touring Kayaks, sometimes you need to have one on hand.As expected, this sponge is large but super easy to pack. As long as it is accessible, it'll do the job. I had several opportunities to use this while on a camping trip in Northern Ontario - was met with some bad weather and once the storm was over, I used it to get the majority of the rainwater out of the bottom of the Kayak. I was able to get it (relatively) dry and didn't have any water sloshing about in the bottom of the boat (which is just dead weight). If you need one and have the room, it's a great tool to have (just in case).

SPONGE SPONGE SPONGE
This sponge can do it all, mud, clay, sand, mud, water, dirt, duck blood! This sponge is an absolute tank and I don’t go anywhere without it! Carpeted wheel wells covered in clay no problem for this sponge! Dented bumper? Put this baby in landscape mode and it’ll be right back to new faster than you can cut butter with a hot knife! Slap it into portrait mode and you can knock out some dishes after too! I love this sponge. I recommend this sponge. Buy this sponge.

Use for a pottery class and surprise at durability
I bought this because I took a wheelthrowing ceramics class (like the scene in the movie ghost) and we needed a large sponge in this shape. It's lasted an entire semester being used about twice a week pretty intensely and looks exactly like it did when I bought it. Other students bought large sponges like this from an art supply store and they have deteriorated due to constant rubbing against the metal wheel and cleaning up the studio. Mine still looks brand spankin new so this sponge is something special
