THINKCAR OBD2 Scanner, ThinkScan S01 Full System Car Diagnostic Scan Tool, Check Engine Code Reader with Oil/ Brake/ SAS/ ETS/ DPF Reset Maintenance Functions

This Mercedes-Benz specific scanner was very useful diagnosing a number of systems in my 2009 GL450. I think this is a relatively good value for the money. I also scanned another Mercedes (2014 ML 350) and there were a lot fewer systems that were available to be diagnosed, but this particular ML is a vehicle with very few options from the factory. So, some will get more benefit from this tool than others, based on my experience.

It does basic reading of your mercedes trouble code just like a generic code reader I wouldn't waste your money on it.

Have been using the small but quite ok adapter with the smart phone. But when it comes to major stuff this seems more reliable and quite easy to use. Especially the physical wire connection is fast and much more reliable. In terms of price this is in the normal range. Performance-wise happy

Easy to use, very affordable, very accurate and can help you save a ton of money. Wish it wasn't Mercedes Benz specific 😒 though.

It does not do what it says don’t waste your money

I have a 2004 C230 and purchased this unit to reset the SRS light. It connected only to OBDII, would not connect to any of the body functions including SRS, ABS or any of the body control modules. So it is not universal across all Mercedes vehicles. I contacted ThinkScan customer support. They were prompt to answer but suggested I had the wrong scanner.
