Ahhhhhh! Love this mat!
I purchased this several months ago and have withheld a review, wanting to truly give this product a good test run. Simply put- it is AWESOME.I have carpal tunnel in both wrists, which make plank, chaturanga and downward dog quite challenging and uncomfortable. The padding on this particular mat absorbs much of the shock that would normally be on my wrists, without the added cost and pain of wrist guards or other products. The mat is definitely "stinky" the first few times you use it ("manufactury" smelling) but it dissipates quickly.Highly recommend!

Good cushioning but looks like ****
Mat is soft and has good cushion. I've had it unrolled for a few hours and the buckle and strap marks don't go away. Looks like they strapped it while the poly was still setting. Still functional but it looks pretty beat up.

It is very comfortable. It seems stable for doing stretches and yoga
I just received this so my review is based on my first impression of it. It is very comfortable. It seems stable for doing stretches and yoga. I like the way it rolls up and has a simple strap for carrying. I like that one side is smooth and the other side has subtle ridges. It will be easy to clean. The price was good and shipping was fast. The only thing I don't like yet is the smell, which I'm sure will dissipate. But I put it outside all day yesterday in the fresh air. Now I have it upstairs, still airing it out, although I've already used it and enjoyed it, smell or not!

The only thing I like about this mat is that it is thick
The only thing I like about this mat is that it is thick... the mat tore the first time I used it! Not a good first experience with a yoga mat!!!

So the only good thing about this mat is that after years of once in a while yoga practices I didn't need to lay blankets down on my mat. With this mat my back and knees didn't hurt. However when I first took it out of the plastic the smell slaps you in the face. I took it out in my living room and my dad came in and said "did you just throw out rotten food" so there's that. And I'm seeing a lot of reviews about how great quality it is, it is absolutely not worth the price. My favorite parts of yoga is when my kitten comes next to me and used the mat as a scratching post (with my old mat from the brand gaiam) if he did that on this mat it would be in pieces in minutes. The only reason I'm not returning it is because I do not want to go back to using yoga mat with blankets folded on it. It's also really soft, my hands slipped on it twice now and I've only had it for a few days.

Good cushion for pilates exercise
Have developed arthritis in my hands, so regular yoga mats hurt my wrists and hands. This mat has great cushion. The only issue is that it's not at all sticky, which makes doing planks difficult, because my feet slide. Otherwise, it's terrific

Squeaks
The mat itself is very comfortable the only draw back is that it squeaks on a wood floor every time I move on it

mat is thick
It is fine, but too thick to be portable and carry back & forth to class. I wish I would have purchased a thinner mat.
