Great book especially if you want your child to learn amahairc and English.

Very well written in both languages, fun to read. Helpful for teaching kids some Amharic words/ reading. Thank you!

I was very excited about this book since there aren’t many Amharic book but I had to return it due to the fact that the ending was not something with promoting. We follow the injera going in different parts of the city and start developing an affinity to it and to the freedom it acquired, only to be told at the end that this injera is stupid and doesn’t have a brain so it must be eaten. The ending showed lack of care. Not something I want to promote to kids. The drawings and images were good though.

This book shows up on the Open Hearts Big Dreams Ready Set Go Books bestseller lists month after month. People love the playful story and great illustrations.
