Lies.
I ordered this because I don’t have a green thumb, but I want to try and learn. The fact that it has an Olla to help me water without error was the selling point. It arrived today and the box is different than the one in the pictures. There is no olla. It’s just a jar, dirt, and seeds. Pretty sure I could have put all that together myself for less than $30.It’s not worth the hassle of trying to return, but I definitely did NOT get what I paid for. I am going to try anyway.

Don’t believe the bad reviews!
I never write product reviews but decided to write one based on how I almost didn’t purchase the product because of some of the negative reviews on here. Even when I received the product, I was still skeptical because it was just a jar of dry soil and some seeds with very simple instructions. I took a chance and decided there wasn’t much to lose in trying. I followed the instructions and waited. The seeds took a while to sprout, about 2 weeks, but I was able to get 6 seedlings going. I followed the instructions and began to thin out the seedlings at ~3 inches of height, leaving only one plant in the jar. I moved some of the other seedlings to other planters, but they don’t seem to grow as well as the one left in the jar. Here are some tips, because I’m sure some of the bad reviews did not follow the instructions well enough. Thai peppers, like most spicy peppers, require very warm environments to grow. I live in New York, and started growing these in March, so it was still fairly cold. I happen to have grow lights so I stuck them under the grow light at night. In addition, I put the jar at a southern facing window where the sun exposure is abundant. Also, keep the lid on the jar until the seedlings sprout!! This is very important because it keeps the jar warm and humid for better germination! Watering is also very important because Thai peppers do not like dry soil. It’s also easy to keep track of the soil because the jar is clear. Don’t be afraid to thin out the other seedlings too! This plant needs a lot of space and you’ll be better off having one strong plant rather than five weak ones.My pepper plant is growing so well, can’t wait for it to start flowering! I attached a picture after I thinned out all the other seedlings, leaving just one plant in the jar.Update: peppers are growing great and ripening well too! :)

Fun and Easy Way to Grow Thai Peppers
I can’t get Thai Chilis at my local grocery, so I ordered this plant in order to get my favorite pepper for cooking. The use olla in the soil makes a uniques and convenient method of watering. Keeping it filled weekly provide the perfect amount of water. The seeds germinated, sprouted in the sunroom window, and grew properly, and produced to 2 bushy plants approximately 12” tall and 15” wide [together]. I highly recommend nd this fun project.

Not returnable, never grew
Never grew, two rounds of seeds. I even planted some in another kind of soil nothing grew. Not returnable. It says guarantees to grow but no way to contact seller. Way overpriced as well

Peppers? Uhhh Yes!
I absolutely love my chili pepper plant! It’s probably the most successful product on amazon I have truly bought. This is very simple and fun to do. I originally bought this product in June and a few months later, it’s flourishing! I definitely recommend this product to most who loved to plant or are wanting to start the whole process of planting. Currently, I have my flowers opening up and started having peppers come in.
