I have physician tested allergies to my own pets! What I was searching for: something to help me rely less on antihistiminesSo far, this is it! My allergies do not react to this fragrance (I am allergic to most fragrances.)I use the fragrance oil, not the wax melts. I keep my dogs & my birds in my bedroom with me most of the time. Therefore: allergy overload! It is too cold most days to open windows so I rely on antihistimines most of the time. Not now. I no longer smell the fragrance. But citrus has a natural cleaning ability which has been known for decades if not longer. My air smells fresher and my lungs have no problems when this is burning silently in its burner. When the tea candle/heat source runs out, the allergies return quickly. I have never noticed an after smell. Perhaps the customer who did notice this has an allergy to something in these oils or to the citrus. I have noted that I cannot use wax melts for what sounds like the same thing. Different people react to different things.Initially, I use the recommended 10 drops in the burner. That is a little strong for a short while. When the candle stops burning, I add 3-5 drops which works well for the next 3-4 hours of candle burning time.Also, I rotate this with the Orange-Clove fragrance oil, which is a much stronger fragrance. I use only 3-5 drops of this in the burner. I feel this reduces my chances of developing allergies to either product. I burn one fragrance one day, the other on the next day and so on.I use other of these fragrance oils in the rest of the house & love them. I do react to a few of them so use them no more. This is not the fault of the seller, of course. I am so pleased to find these products. When you have allergies, you know how wonderful it is to find something that helps you.Yes, I heartily recommend these fragrances to others. There are many for sale. Hopefully you will find something that works for you. I also love the rose fragrance.

Although the smell is refreshingly citrus, the lingering residue smell is disturbing. After 2 hours in the warmer the citrus smell wears off and a chemical smell remains. Not recommended.

VERY SUBTLE AND ENJOYABLE, DOESN'T GIVE ME A HEAD ACHE AND DOESN'T MAKE THE DOGS SNEEZE. VERY CIVILIZED, UNLIKE SOME THAT I HAVE TRIED. SO BAD THEY REQUIRE THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT TO COME WASH DOWN THE AREA AS POSSIBLE HAZ-MAT SITUATION.
