Dear Self

I very rarely write reviews but felt compelled to in this case. I followed the author on Instagram and thought i would give this a try. I am so glad I did. Eloquently written, the author does not preach in anyway. She utilises past experience to impart profound perceptions on situations that are just so relevant. I found her positivity thoroughly refreshing and will certainly be purchasing some of her earlier work.

I discovered this writer on Instagram and bought one of the poetry books. Something about her writing is like a firm, warming hug for the mind and soul. This book is like the best advice from a friend who has gone through heartache. It's frank, sincere, beautiful and inspiring and gently guides you to a better mental place.

I never read books, ever. But after seeing excerpt from this book on Instagram I decided to give it a chance and ordered it on a whim. And you know what? I'm now half way reading through it for the THIRD time. This book is a physical manifestation of everything that I needed to hear and feelings I couldn't quite translate to words. I've also read Ruby's other book "my hope for tomorrow" and have her new book "Between us" on the way 🤞 guess I'm a book work now 🤓 It's amazing how connected and understood i feel by the author simply through words on a page, it's both crazy and magical to think about. Highly recommend

I received the old version, not the one with the new cover?

This book was a amazing read, it was like each page was a breath of fresh air. Dear Self speaks volumes and Ruby has covered so much in one book - fantastic read for anyone!
