The kneeling chair itself is really sturdy with good quality parts for the price point. It is a joy to use and was not too difficult to put together. The seller was also very helpful and patient. This chair changes the game when it comes to working from home, you won't regret ordering it! If you'd like further convincing, read on for details..ASSEMBLY:- DECENT INSTRUCTIONS: It took about 30 minutes to put together following the instructions. They are the usual flatpack affair so not the simplest to understand.. BUT if you take your time to read them properly it is straightforward enough and they do describe every step in good English.sidenote: On the diagram one of the screw types (the long one) pictured has been replaced with a similar long screw type. So I highly recommend you separate out all the little fixings into piles first and you will see clearly which screw the picture is supposed to represent.- SPARE FIXINGS! This was a godsend and I don't know why all flatpack furniture doesn't do this. They added one spare for every screw/nut/peg just in case one gets lost during packing/unpacking/assembling process. Very helpful, as one screw rolled away from me when assembling and I couldn't find it- thankfully not a problem!- TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THE CROSSBARS: The wooden crossbars that hold the two sides together actually have a longer side and a shorter side but it can be hard to tell. The longer side goes towards the KNEEPAD end and the shorter side goes towards the SEAT pad end. The instructions do explain this but it's hard to tell especially with the shortest piece closest to the seat. When you start to tighten the screws holding it in place though, you can notice that it doesn't feel "right" and won't sit quite flush to the side pieces of wood. Easy enough to take it off and turn it round during assembly though (like I did). DON'T FORCE IT if it doesn't feel right, turn it round.USE:-GOOD QUALITY: The wood is strong enough to bear weight whilst rocking and feels safe and sturdy to use. Tested with the weight of two average humans and a cat and it was clearly stable enough. This will last a long time with everyday use. The metal fixings are all of a good standard so will NOT come loose or break causing the structure to become unstable as is often the case with inferior flatpack furniture.-COMFORTABLE: The cushions are deep and are very comfortable to sit for extended periods of time (I have sat for 6+ hours on this no problem). The pads don't depress too much so you are properly cushioned the whole day. It is the perfect height for sitting at a standard desk with plenty of space for your legs to fit underneath.- CORRECTED POSTURE: Amazing for my back and posture! It has eliminated the usual back pain that creeps in after a few hours of sitting at my desk in a conventional chair. It completely discourages the tendency to hunch forward when looking at a screen/reading/typing at my desk. Plus, because of the way my weight is distributed into my knees, it stops my bum going numb after a long time of sitting!-FUN! The rocking motion is really fun and alleviates the need to fidget whilst sat for extended periods. It does NOT rock too far backwards even with leaning quite far back so you won't fall. I feel like I'm on a kid's rocking horse that's also good for me as it's a little bit of core activation whilst sitting down!SERVICE/DELIVERY:-DPD WAS TERRIBLE: So the delivery was a shambles through NO FAULT of the seller's. DPD was the courier and they delivered it to completely the wrong address (with a photo of someone else's feet and doormat?) claiming that they had successfully delivered it to me. I contacted the seller who initially asked me if I'd forgotten receiving it (slightly irritating) but after sending them the photographic "proof" from DPD they were more than helpful in trying to help me locate the package.- PATIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service rep. took time to explain and send links as to how I could track the package with DPD and hopefully raise a query with them in order to locate my lost package. However DPD were less than helpful, but when I told the seller this they were happy to launch their own investigation with DPD to locate my package. Unfortunately, DPD did not help them either but I could see the seller had gone to the effort to try and help me.- SENT ME A NEW ITEM! Even though the package being delivered to the wrong place and never retrieved was not the seller's fault, they offered to send me a brand new chair anyway and absorbed the cost of the lost one. I greatly appreciated this as I too had gone to a lot of effort emailing back and forth with the seller and trying with DPD. This new item arrived quickly and the seller kept in touch the whole time to keep me updated as to every step of the dispatch/delivery process. The new one arrived with no problems at all.-WOULD HAVE ARRIVED EARLY: The seller actually processed my order quite quickly and had it arrived at the correct address, it would have been before the expected delivery date. When sending me a replacement this was processed very quickly and arrived promptly (through Royal Mail).

Brilliant product. Much more than a seat - it has improved my life! My pain has eased all day and I have better posture. I would definitely choose a seat with the extra thick padding, rather than a cheaper version. Well worth the extra money. It took no time at all to put together for one person. Also, the fact it is curved and can rock is a big part of it so I wouldn't go for a fixed one.

I bought this for my partner who has a herniated disk in her lower back. She’s been unable to sit comfortably on anything else but has found this to have helped a lot. Easy to assemble and only took around 15 minutes.

Very happy with the purchase. Easy to build and very comfortable to sit on. Could really feel myself slouching with my previous desk chair and this one has greatly improved my posture. Would not hesitate to buy again.
