Love this Barbie
I've been collecting Barbie collectibles for more than twenty years now, and they always seem to get it right. The likeness, especially in the details of the face, are always better and more accurate than I've seen in other collectibles. I have quite a few celebrity collectible Barbies that look like their person, and this Maya Angelou Barbie did not disappoint. I hope that Barbie continues with this Heritage series of collectibles. I'm a fan.

She arrived fast. She has a good likeness to Mrs A. The doll is pretty and I was told that the pattern in her outfit is an authentic popular African pattern. Kudos to Mattel for the attention to detail. I am pleased to have her.

Like the others, I've received she is a beautifully constructed doll. Like others, I was concerned about the packaging. She was not damaged but I do wish for more care in the packaging of collectibles considering what the customer pays for these items.

I've always admired Maya Angelou I have also read her book, I know why the CAGED BIRD SINGS " . This doll is just one of may that I have bought off Amazon and I love each and everyone one of the Barbie inspiring women collection. The doll does reasemble Maya Angelou especially in her smile. I'm collecting them for my granddaughter .
