The Greek Myths: The Complete and Definitive Edition

This book shows the archetypal myths of the Greeks and how complicated they were.

If you want a bedtime story book to read to your children, this may not be the most popular collection of Greek myths for that purpose. But if you have a curious mind and seek a deeper meaning about the stories that inspired and shaped the western world, Robert Graves can’t be beat.

As in the headline, once again I got tempted by a pretty cover but the quality of paper and print is very low and you just don't feel like want to read such a book. This is more personal, but I was also looking for a selection of the most popular myths, but this looked like a complex history/theory book.

If you're interested in the details of greek mythology, in every aspect of the tales and where they come from, than this is the book for you. If you mostly aim for entertainment, than it is probably not.

It is absolutely the best book one who would want to study greek mythology could find out in every library or on the internet. Really helpful.
