This product is well worth the money. Our nine year old Dutch shepherd mix has Spondylosis. I had tried several different glucosamine products and didn’t see much of a result. One of the veterinarians that helped develop this product suggested we try it for our dog and after one month of 2 tablets a day, she was much more active and back to going up the stairs without hesitation. She now plays like a 2 year old puppy with our younger Catahoula dog. She is much happier, her tail wags all the time and she sleeps less now that she is pain free. She is on a maintenance dose of 1 tablet per day. The only drawback is she wont take the capsule unless it is enveloped in peanut butter or a pill pocket. Our veterinarian friend told me they are trying to develop a capsule that tastes better so hopefully that will be available in the future.

I own an 11 year old purebred Sheltie, who started have hip and joint problems about a year and a half ago, which is a fairly common problem with his breed. He sometimes struggles to stand up after he has been laying down for a while and occasionally his back legs give-out on him a bit if he is trying to stand up on hardwood flooring or after he has had a more active day. My veterinarian recommended to me to try a joint guard medication for him regularly to see if it would help.The first thing I liked about this medication was that it is a smaller pill that was very easy to give to my dog. I rolled it in a little bit of peanut butter and he swallowed it down without even noticing that I had given him a pill. However, so far I have not seen any results in helping his hip strength or his ability to stand up and I have been using it daily for a week and a half. I will continue using the product in hopes that I will see better results after a longer period of time.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. We have an 11 year old three legged Norwegian Elkhound that had been on Joint Guard for about 3 years to protect that one front leg. So far he isn't showing any signs of joint problems. We also had a puppy mill dog with horrible hips. I put her on Joint Guard and within a month she was bouncing around the kitchen!! I think this is a great product!!

I got this product for my dog because she was having real trouble getting up from the laying position cuz of her arthritis. With in 24 hours I noticed a difference within 48 hours it was like a totally different dog I highly recommend this product if u care for your dog.
