KOHLER 10411-BN Forté(R) 3-Hole Sink 9-1/16" spout Kitchen Faucet, Vibrant Brushed Nickel

This is a review of the K-10412 CP. Amazon delivered product on time and well packaged, although Kohler packaging was outstanding. No parts missing so the plumber was able to install very quickly and according to him it was an easy install. He did comment on the overall quality of the faucet including both the faucet valuing (ball valve for water control) and the escutcheon (3 hole cover plate), which fit very snugly to sink. Even I could tell this was a very high quality product and the more I use it the more evident that becomes.It looks great with a modern design and good 6" spout height sufficent to allow easy filling of pots and pans. This, and a 9" reach and along with the nearly 180 degree swivel of the spout, makes it easy to cover most of the entire sink. And of course the sides spray will allow you to hit areas spout does not reach. I'm not sure about some of the comments on the spray - it is chrome like the faucet, very well made with a solid base that securely holds the sprayer. Very nice. I particularly like the faucet lever which is fairly long, very elegant looking and most importantly, makes control of both water temp and flow a breeze. And the precise control is due to the valuing mechanism which is just tight enough but not too tight so you can adjust lever very easily. I love that part of it the most, and frankly, that is the primary fuction of a faucet - water flow and temp.Detailed instructions were provided although the plumber didn't need them it appeared, but for a novice, they would have come in handy. Overall, I'm highly impressed with this product and it feels like it will be a beautiful addition to kitchen for many years to come. I highly recommend.

I came to Amazon cause the plumbing supply house did not have it in stock and their price was too high. As usual I am very please doing business with Amazon. The product, a sleek, single handle, stainless steel kitchen faucet is a smart looking accent in my new kitchen. The pull out nozzle design is easy to use, and I really did not want the oversize pot filler style shown elsewhere. This works as advertised. My contractor had me worried when he first saw the many parts in the box but everything was there and installation went smoothly. I chose this for its similar design to the Kohler Addison in both my bathroom sinks. All really good choices high end and functionally what I needed. My wife has fine motor issues and we are very happy. The comments about low pressure is not a problem. If you want your 40 yr old squeaky crapy faucet with separate hot and cold handles and peeling finish and the matching porcelain sink you have now, stop shopping. If not, go with Kohler and only buy with Amazon. Win-Win.

We chose this faucet for a few reasons; the first being that we had large sinks and like the long overhang to reach the center of the sink and the pullout handle feature.This current review is for a replacement for a previous Forte of the same design that lasted us 8-9 years. After 8 years it no longer rotated easily and the pull out wand had chips out of it that exposed sharp edges so we decided to replace with the same model. We could have fixed the rotation issue with an inexpensive Kohler gasket kit but because of the chips we decided to go for new.If you have space under your kitchen sink it's easy to install - we don't: we have a large garbage disposal, large and deep Kohler sink which made installation a challenge both in removing the old and installing the new. But with a little patience got it done and it works / looks great.The sprayhead IS a stainless "veneer" that will chip if hit against something hard, sometimes leaving a sharp edge on the periphery of the sprayhead. The counterweight works well in returning the sprayhead to its resting place, although I used some foam under the sink to minimize the clanking of the counterweight against the pipes.The Spray / Stream button works wells and is a nice feature. I guess the best thing I can say is that we purchased this model a second time because of our satisfaction with the first.Another thought: Our problem was that the faucet no longer swiveled easily and the sprayer was chipped and had low pressure. Another alternative to purchasing a whole new unit would be to purchase a washer and gasket kit for about $1 (Kohler has a great video on how to easily install this to fix the swiveling problem and a new sprayer head (less than $50) to fix the other. Next time.... Amazon only sells the sprayer head in chrome but I expect Kohler could supply it in other finishes.

We've owned this set for over a year and could not be more pleased with it. We installed it as part of a partial renovation: New granite counters, stainless sink, and this faucet set. We chose it for the single penetration and simple, single-handle function. The installation was easy and painless. Things we really like about this product:1. The finish is beautiful and, most importantly, cleans easily and without degradation. It looks today like it looked in the package.2. The spray and stream options perform well without using much water. The aerated option is great for rinsing large areas, and the spray option exerts good pressure for cleaning and rinsing out the sink.3. The handle operates easily with one hand and smoothly moves from cold to hot and anywhere in between.4. The rise is high, so it's easy to get big pots under the spout. Of course, the head pulls out on a long, sturdy tether to go anywhere. It swivels nicely and never binds, and the weight pulls it back into the stalk smoothly and easily.The only minor quibble is the switch to change from spray to stream: It is a little stiff and doesn't always fully switch without another push. Also, the stalk range of motion (swiveling left to right) is slightly limited, but doesn't cause us any problems.We would absolutely buy this set again and recommend it without reservation to anyone considering it.
