A very practical solution to knife storage in a kitchen drawer
I've had exactly the same Joseph Joseph knife tidy for several years and my only reason for purchasing this one was that my OH inadvertently placed an egg slicer in the kitchen drawer which normally is stored elsewhere, on top of the knife store causing the whole drawer to jam and it had to eventually be forced open, resulting in both the knife tidy and egg slicer to be completely damaged beyond repair hence purchasing this new knife tidy.I love kitchen utensils, especially kitchen knives as they can make cooking so much easier and this knife storage aid is a very practical way of storing them safely allowing easy and safe access to the desired knife. The knife tidy fits nicely into a regular kitchen drawer and holds up to 9 smaller knives in the top section and theoretically 9 in bottom section but I'd say that 9 would be a little on the crowded side with 9 large knives with thicker handles but fortunately I have only 5 large Victorinox kitchen knives so while it could take more, 5 is very practical and easily stored.Having had one of these for several years I can thoroughly recommend them and as soon as I damaged the old one, without hesitation I re-ordered a new one immediately so that speaks for itself. It's a well thought out and practical way of storing sharp knives in a drawer so buy with confidence.

Love these, great space saving solutions...
I'm not a fan of everything by Joseph Joseph like some, but these are genuinely ingenious and clever products. The knife store makes a great home for our newly bought carefully chosen knives, storing and protecting them safely neatly in the drawer - great if you are not a fan of knife blocks out on the counter like us. It feels made of good quality plastic and looks like will last. I do feel it is tad more expensive than it should be for what it is materiallly but there aren't really any alternatives if you want a well designed solution like this and we will probably be using it for years so feel its a good investment. We also got the compact cutlery organiser and it has retrieved so much more space in our cutlery drawer! There are cheaper Chinese made alternatives for this unlike the knife store on here, but I feel they're poor imitations and have lots of issues in terms of their design so on that basis feel it's worth going with the brand here.

Quite good.
I found the size very good also gives me enough room in the same draw for my tea clothes. Very good value and easy to clean.

Nice idea, and tidy
Overall, I like this as it stores the knives neatly in my drawer, however, you cannot store as many knives as there are slots due to the thickness of the knife base, so it’s a little misleading. Great that you can store both large and small kitchen knives together though.

Tidys drawer
Looks good and safer than sharp knives loose in the drawer. Have the cutlery one as well.

Great Space Saver
Holds plenty of knives securely and only takes up half a drawer. It's allowed me to declutter my worktop where I previously had a large knife block

I'm only sorry I didn't buy it sooner.
I've considered getting one of these to free up the kitchen side so we don't have to have the knife block.. I can't mount knives to rental tiled kitchen. And this seemed logical. Fits with plenty of wiggle room; but doesn't wiggle or move. Easy to use. Not yet had to clean.. Had it a month or so and one of the best things I've bought. Plus looks so expensive I got called a 'posh bugger' - I'm so not posh lol 😂 love it. Get it. Don't question the price. Just get it and go.

It's OK
I have purchased several Joseph Joseph products, many of them being wins, but not this one. It's very cheap feeling and it's awkward to put knives in across the two levels, you actually have to fill every other slot on each level if you want to use the upper and lower parts. Plus, there is no layer holding the top knives so the device feels a bit clunky to me. Great idea and concept, but could be better execution.

Great product and perfect fit!
Most of my knives fit and are easy to remove for use. Enough room in the drawer for my remaining knives that would not fit into the holder. . This was not a problem since they are seldom used and fit perfectly in the drawer’s remaining space. This will be so much easier to find the knife I need instead of searching through the trays I kept them in before purchasing this holder.

Very handy for small drawers
My eating utensil drawer is fairly small, and this is an excellent product for storing all my spoons, knives, forks in a relatively small space. It would not be suitable for very shallow drawers, but is excellent in saving space in kitchen drawers of average height. The side of this gadget has indications into which slot the knives, spoons, forks should go, which is pretty helpful.

Perfect!
Great value! Well-made. Fits my drawer perfectly and holds everything I use. Easy to expand - but don’t try to pick up all the parts with things in it! The expandable part is not attached to the rest of the tray. It will stay in the drawer if you lift the middle section. Be sire to remove any utensils before moving the ‘wings’.
