STOPS WEEDS.
I have a big garden. I lied this stuff down and pinned it with heavy staples and the weeds cannot get started. AND it is tough I pulled y staples and rolled it up at the end of the season and it's going to be laid out again. I expect to get more than a few years out of it.Some people use it for no till and they never pick it up.

This stuff is excellent!
Very durable. I use mine exposed as a seasonal mulch in my veggie garden. This does completely eliminate weeds (as long as you do not allow dirt to build up in top, in which case they grow in that and root through it - Very hard to remove!) It is easy to roll up, and I store it outside during the off season. Then till the beds anually, and redeploy once the beds are prepped in spring. (I use the green bio degradable plastic stakes, they last for 2-3 years, and won't ruin my tiller or cause injury should one escape! Works great. Don't try to cut holes, it will unravel (it's woven, duh!) Burn them. I just use a regular propane torch like for plumbing, it works great. I'm in my fifth season with it, and other then where I've ripped it with tools, it looks like brand new, and blocks 100% of weeds. It's so much easier just weeding at the base of the plants. This mulch also does wonders for moisture retention as well, helping the soil in-between the rows "bank" rain water and not having it all evaporate off. It is very permiable, although a super light drizzle, or just the beginning of a rain will bead up, or even kind of puddle. I think it needs to "wet through" before achieving full permiablity. 100% not a functional issue. Looks great too, lay it out kind of flat, and when you drive the stakes down, they stretch it tight. Everything about it is a great time saver, worth every penny! 6' rolls can be a bit unwieldy by your self, but it's the right width for my garden beds. No seams, works perfectly.

Very easy to install but did have minor rips upon arrival
The fabric was exactly what was expected. Woven fabric. Each edge seem doubled to create extra durability to ward off ripping. Very easy to install. We are using for flower growing. Extremely easy to burn holes into. The first rain storm the fabric was permeable. Did not pool water. Next day in sunshine kept the moisture underneath. Hoping this growing season will show continued expectations of weed suppression. Had to give four stars because when I unrolled fabric there were two areas that were already ripped. One rip was 50 feet in the other 220 feet in. Luckily on the edges where I was going to overlap the fabric with more fabric. Both Rips were about a foot long. Besides that I am hoping this will last for years and continue to aid in stopping weeds from growing.Update: End of SeasonThis fabric was amazing. 99% of weeds were cut out. Kept the garden clean. Did not tear all season. Fabric kept backsplash of dirt and muck from jumping back on flowers all season. Kept moisture in. Never once did the water pool. Very happy. Will order another round for next year to grow more flowers in.

Excellent!
I have used this product & reordered from the same company for years now. I have a tiny urban flower farm and not a lot of time to weed. This product has lasted through reuse, storms, sweltering days etc. The black does warm up my soil a bit faster for an earlier bloom, that plus the use of low tunnels extends my season up to 4 months each year. My dahlias and zinnias love the warmth. Using the fabric, though not always attractive, reduces my need for watering and saves me a ton of time. I had one shipment that the wrong item was sent (mistakes happen) and this company replied quickly with a solution. They sent me the correct item with no charge before I even sent the old one back, they sent me a label and a pickup service. Excellent!

good customer service
I didn't receive my order when I needed it because it wasn't shipped or was lost in shipping but I contacted customer service and they got back to me quick and immediately shipped a replacement so it worked out ok. I haven't used it yet but the material looks to be heavy duty nursery level stuff so I'm pleased with it.

Amazing product. Wish I had used this years ago.
I am obsessed with this weed cloth. I burn perfect holes into it [by heating up (with a torch) a tuna can that is screwed to a piece of wood (wood acts as a handle)] so that the fabric does not fray and plant straight into it with drip irrigation underneath. My garden looks SO TIDY, because it is so tidy. Weed-free because nothing can come up through the fabric at all. I love this product and hope it lasts a long time!
