I bought this lock during our recent travel and was able to use it in thr whole duration of our stay in the hotel. I felt very secured knowing that an added security lock was there. It was just me and my daughter in a foreign land for few days. So this small device lock really made us feel secured and was able to sleep soundly. It is not heavy and also lays flat inside the case. There is an installation manual included. Installing was easy too. I will always bring this lock in all our travels from now on.

Recommend this item for travelers

It is correct it doesn't fit UAE doors - which I had gathered from reviews. However I bought it for traveling - very happy with the quality. Looks like it will do its job. also came in a little handy pouch.

The products it not exactly what on the photo and its not compatible to all doors, waste of money

Confirms that it works for the first use, but if the model has a protruding plastic piece to catch the chain, that is very likely to break with force so it is more for small use and not for security purposes. It is useful if you are in the room with your child and can make sure to undo it yourself when needed, children may be too confused by instructions.

I bought 2 of these and I would do it again. They work exactly as described and are very sturdy. The only negative thing I have to say about this door stop is that if you are wanting to get out in a hurry, it will slow you down. Then again, I'm old, so what do I know. LOL

Its steel frame is solid! Used it in several hotel stays. Gave me a piece of mind that the door was EXTRA secure. Super easy to use. Highly recommend

I tend to get paranoid that someone will break into wherever I’m staying (Airbnb, hotel, etc), so this little device just adds a little more security into my travels. Can never be too safe right? I love it. You will too! Easy installation.

We used it at the condo we rented for vacation to keep our disabled son from wandering out of our bedroom at night. Works great. He couldn’t figure it out.

Did not work for me at home or at a hotel. I kept reading the instructions but i dont know.
