I use this for post processing of 3D printed parts from my SLA resin printer. Yellow Magic 7 cleans the prints very well. I pour it in a 250ml glass beaker and drop the whole beaker into my Branson ultrasonic homogenizer...YM7 cleans the 3D printed parts awesome.I started using this because even using 91% Alcholol I would get these cloudy white patches all over my models...I think it was caused from the water content in the Alcholol.....YM7 solved the problem.Love this Product.-Robert

Does not work for cleaning resin 3D prints
Despite the manufacturer's claims this product DOES NOT work as a substitute for isopropyl alcohol for cleaning UV resin 3D prints.

Great product.
Great product, when used on 3-prints it will make them slightly more cloudy than standard isopropyl alcohol, however it's not fammable and non toxic. Just wear eye protection. Sometimes it turns excess resin blue when it's working to get it off, its normal and doesn't stain. I quite like the product!

Works well for 3D resin prints.
Using yellow magic 7 for cleaning resin prints. I’ve found that 20 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner followed by a rinse in isopropyl works well. Wish I could move completely away from isopropyl but prints are still tacky without the rinse.

Yellow tint: Used as substitute for isopropyl alcohol - 3d printing
I was forced to look into alternatives for isopropyl alcohol (because of the COVID-19 shortage) to clean my resin prints with and found this solution. It looked promising from the description and from a few minutes of research. Unfortunately it did not preform as well as I thought it would. The solution leaves a yellow tint to the print and I found that it does not take off all uncured resin. After cleaning, the print is significantly more sticky than if cleaned with 91%-99% isopropyl alcohol. I would only recommend using this as cleaner if you plan to prime the print. But for the $50 after shipping, it does not seem worth it for me.

Finally no need for Iso
So I made a couple of errors with this at first. I thought it was making my print sticky, but then I learned that after the sonic bath, I just leave it in for another 30-hour and take it out then wash with dish soap and water (even with just my fingers) and the stickyness and yellowing was gone. It seems it just needs more time in the liquid.Anyway, this in a sonic bath has saved me from needing iso stinking up everything and being all flammable. It smells a BIT strange but it isn't bad and way better than resin and iso.

Completely removes Anodization from Aluminum
This product works really good for cleaning SLA prints, in many ways better that IPA.With this said, be very careful, it also strips the color and anodization completely off of your SLA print bed. Do not use it on Aluminum!
