I always struggled with bearings until I had this. It makes taking them out and putting them in effortless. I can blow through wheels in no time with this.

I didn’t quite understand why someone would need something like this until I injured my hand and needed some assistance seating some bearings. After the first time using it I suddenly realized that I was a fool living in a fog of ignorance. The bearing press and bearing puller are so convenient and instantly became a regularly used part of my toolbox. The ability to sit the bearings with precision greatly improves the quality of your experience so cheap bearings become better bearings and good bearings become GREAT bearings. This was the most impressive factor for me. This is a MUST have if you’re using aluminum core wheels. The speed and precision for changing bearings or setting up a new set of wheels is unmatched, the tool makes a tedious task much faster and less annoying. Can’t imagine living without it!

This tool works great on everything except Bont Avenger wheels ironically. The Avenger wheel hub gives the tool nothing to push on. However for all other wheels it is very satisfying to use and makes the job of removing and installing bearings very satisfying

Quickly and effectively install / remove almost any bearings from wheels. I have only tried it with skate board bearings and it works awesome.

Not able to use press due to Bont Pro 608 bearings not fitting.

My wheels and bearings arrived before this did so I installed them on my desk by just pressing down. I installed the wheels and rode the skates for a week before watching a video on how to adjust the frames. While doing that I had to remove a couple wheels and for grins put them in the press. Voila! There was a small but noticeable crack or two on each wheel and after doing this they fit perfectly in the frames and I could evenly torque the axels. Conclusion: yes, you can get away with not having a bona-fide press but having one makes wheel and bearing installation so much easier, enjoyable and precise. Most importantly the ride is now quieter with no random rattling or tight wheels.
