A good start but not really the exciting different types of ice cream I was hoping for. I had hoped to get at least a dozen or so completely different methods of making non-Dairy ice cream for my lactose intolerant grandson. Not just suggestions for adding different item to two or three basic recipes. Once I made the first one and he decided he didn't like the coconut taste,...well that eliminated a lot of the book. I guess it was my fault for not looking more closely at the book before I purchased it.

has no mention of using dairy
Unlike one of the previous reviews, I did not find any suggestions that you should use dairy cream in any of these recipes. They all use either coconut milk, almond milk, soy milk, or cashews. Personally I'm a huge fan of regular dairy ice cream, so I doubt I will be making any of these recipes for myself but I have several friends who have lots of dietary restrictions so making desserts for them is very challenging. This book compiles a list of dairy-free recipes so you don't have to look them all up online.

Fine recipes
I have tried some recipes of this book, and the savor of the ice cream was really great.

Updated review
I appreciate the author's response to my earlier review. The updated book delivers on its promise.Old review:The heavy cream called for in one of the preview recipes call this whole book into question. In my world, heavy cream = dairy.

Okay(ish)
Tiny, thin book with few recipes, most with coconut milk. Was expecting more variety and perhaps a bit more interesting layout/content, this is really plain. If you like coconut milk and only want to use that, then maybe it will be okay.

Just Coconut milk Ice Cream
Despite claiming to have recipes for other milk alternatives the recipes in this book are all either for Coconut milk, bananas or cashews. The recipes have obviously been taken from elsewhere, in one list of ingredients it was forgotten to delete the word gelatin!
