Let me start by saying I notice other reviewers say they have difficulty with it never lying flat. A lot of RGB mousepads have the issues because of the way the plastic RGB outline and cloth are woven creating the tension to where it sits in one place so this is pretty common. All you have to do is keep heavy items sit on the non flattened parts to help it then after days or weeks of it helping all it can, all you need to do is bend the plastic rgb out layer a little but be careful not to do it to much as idk if it messes with the electronics. Ive experienced cheap ones and this is by far the best! Spend a little extra and get this one for sure. RGB is nice and bright. Software is kinda confusing with some features but not necessary either so not a big deal for me. The glide is nice and smooth/medium speed while being plush enough with the 4mm thickness to allow stopping power. USB hub on the mat! Cleaning the mat is super simple as well. All around good mat! Got it on sale for about 45$ so it was def a steal for me! Okay guys so I wrote this review in 2023 and I actually returned it for highly recommended X-raypad ROB Strata Aqua Control Plus wich had the coolest design I've ever seen and I still have it but now I've re bought this mm700 because the texture is way better IMO. The ROB was to rough for my liking and I feel like it gave my aim jitters. As you can see in the pic I've now added this pic here in 2024 and this is brand new out the box and I had heavy items sit on some edges for only a day and then bent the rgb strip so it sits flat and here it is after one day. This pad is perfect!

I’ve been using it for a while and is a premium mousepad, excellent for its price, RGB looks good

Heres the thing, its a nice mat, it feels good and my mat i got barely has any warping. Just a tiny bit by the controller which i can deal with. The lighting that goes around it is nice but can be uneven as the corner by the controller shines the brightest. Otherwise would buy again

The mousepad is solid material, well made, and comes rolled around a large and stiff cardboard tube so you don't have to fight with creases right out of the box. The USB hub is a nice touch with two additional ports to pass through. Size is good. There is a little bit of weird texture to the lighting ring because of the clear fishing line style attachment, it doesn't bug me as I don't rub my hand or arm on it the way I use my mouse and keyboard but I do see why other reviewers have noted it. The only knock I really have is there is no "hardware lighting" setting for this in iCUE, meaning while I can black out/turn off LEDs for every other device I have in iCUE at lock, this automatically defaults back to rotating rainbow lighting with no option to shut it off besides unplugging it until the computer goes to sleep. Kind of distracting in the background. I passed this feedback on to Corsair in hopes that a future iCUE update can fix this because this keeps this device from being 5 stars. Even if it kept the setting you had when you locked the PC it would be a win in my book because I could just create a black out profile.

Amazing high quality mouse pad with pretty bright lights when it’s light outside it’s a little dim but in a dark room the lights look amazing and it’s Corsair so literally the peakest of peak

This is a solid choice for an RGB gaming mat. The size is larger than many other mats, so double check that it is a good fit for your space; it was perfect for mine. The USB passthrough is nice so that you can plug in your wired mouse with a short cable, or plug in the usb receiver for your wireless mouse and have it be very close to the mouse itself. This mat comes pre-loaded with several color settings. You can choose between having it be a solid color or cycle through the colors. This is done by pressing a small button next to the power cord; no software needed! Of course, if you want to hook it up to the software, you can. But I'm very pleased that I don't have to use the software in order to pick a color other than the default. It's not unusual for other RGB gaming products to require you to use their software (and it's always bad, right?) in order to change any RGB settings at all. Corsair does the sensible thing here instead for the best of both worlds. Nice job Corsair!

Das Material des Mauspads ist außerdem leicht zu reinigen und resistent gegen Spritzer und Abrieb. Und wenn es doch irgendwie verschmutzt ist, reicht es, mit einem feuchtem Tuch (nicht zu nass) einfach drüber zu wischen. Auch hat das Pad einen USB-Pass-Through-Anschluss. Dadurch kann man eine Maus oder ein anderes Gerät direkt anschließen und so die Unordnung auf dem Schreibtisch reduzieren. Es ist nicht nur äußerst praktisch, sondern bietet auch eine ordentliche und organisierte Arbeitsfläche. Alles in allem hat das Corsair MM700 RGB Extended meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Es vereint beeindruckenden Stil, Leistung und Funktionalität. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem hochwertigen Mauspad mit toller RGB-Beleuchtung sind, ist das Corsair MM700 definitiv die richtige Wahl. Great extra large RGB deskmat. More expensive than no name brands but integrates well with other Corsair iCue devices, looks great and works as expected.
