Nice gauge, will purchase again
This is my third one I have bought. I installed one 3 years ago on on a hydronic system, it is the gauge I appreciate the most in the entire system. I have also installed them on my well expansion tanks - I like to see the ground water temp as it enters the building.Oil filled is important for longevity of the gauge, as well as stabilizing the needle bounce that can happen when volatile pressure bounce is common. In my experience, they last much longer than non filled gauges. The back mount version is another reason I go for this gauge. I like the ability to land a drop ear on the wall and thread this into it - standing it securely of the wall for easy replacement.I appreciate that it does include the brass reducing bushings to install in a 1/2", or a 3/8" drop ear. Saves a couple bucks from rounding this necessary part up.

Perfect to monitor water Pressure and Temperature !
Now understand I've only had this installed for two days, so I've no long term experience. But so far I like what I see.I have just this one, installed on the Cold Water Inlet Line to my Forced Hot Water Boiler; between the Back-Flow Preventer and the Water Pressure Regulator. But I'd rather have six or more; a Gauge at every location that is expected to have a different Pressure or Temperature.I am planning on having Tankless Water Heater next year. I will have a Pressure/Temperature Gauge on both Inlet and Outlet.

Quality
Was surprised by the quality of the glycerin filled gauge.

Does exactly what I bought it for well.
nice, compact pressure/temperature meter. I bought two: 1 for my cold water coming into the house and 1 for the hot water after going through a filter, small hot water tank, on-demand hot water heater. My hot pipes have been building up mineralization for years and as I try different things (vinegar, citric acid, phosphoric acid soaks) to relieve the back-pressure and flow-constraints, this pair helps me understand quantitatively how well this is working. If I had a complaint it is that the lettering on the dial faces is too small for my old eyes, but then I guess I could just remember to wear reading glasses when I inspect.

Great gauge for the price
Gauges seem to be of quality, they definitely look nicer than cheap plastic ones that are half the price. Pressures/temperature appear to be accurate. Overall Iām pleased with these.

A disaster
5 days! this gauge lasted 5 days. Replaced a 10 tear old temp/pressure gauge with this junk. Boy was this a mistake. We knew something was wrong when pressure is supposed to be 20 PSI and this thing read ZERO. Not a good sign at all, so following procedure - we tried to manually raise the pressure per procedure but nothing... until the over pressure release valve went off at 30 PSI and sent a scalding stream of 175 degree water shooting across the room! Now I have to replace this crappy gauge, the over pressure valve and 3 feet of soaked drywall.Am I mad, you betcha!

Using it in a hydronic floor heating system
I used this to replace a Merrill combination pressure/temp gauge in my hydronic floor heating system. So far so good. Temp appear to be very accurate as it matched my temp gun. Pressure is spot on compared to my other pressure tester. We'll see how long it lasts, but it rather heavy and had a good quality "feel" to it. I'll update after a year or so.
