I have been using this for almost 2 weeks and it has definitely helped my beard look healthier without being greasy!I bought the kit because I was look for an oil/balm and for the price I had to try it. All the extras are a welcomed gift!Shampoo/conditioner are great. The shampoo lathers really nice and leaves things feeling clean. The conditioner definitely helps moisturize as stated. (Both are scentless)Oil - works good not super greasy and works in evenly, 3-5 drops is all you need depending on beard length (scentless)Balm - Great smell, with a very smooth consitancey, I have tried some other brands that are gritty/ clumpy and this is neither! I was I could buy just the balm! (Sandlewood scent)Straight razor (shavette) w/ 2 blades - works good, very sharp. I do wish it came with more than 2 blades but I do have a couple real straight razors. (If you buy this kit chances are you wont really be shaving so the blade should last awhile for cleaning up around your beard)Comb- great wooden comb that comes with the kit! I don't use any other combs anymore.Brush - very nice brush that I would assume is boars hair, works very well although the bristles could be alittle stiffer. None the less, still a great brush!Scissors - seem to be very hefty and sharp, works well for trimming your mustache or flyaways.Straightener - works but not as great as I would have thought (maybe I'm doing it wrong as I have never straightened my beard before). I did not by the kit for the straightener so either way it was a welcomed addition.Overall the kit is a great and well worth the value at less than $30 shipped. I would definitely buy again!

Amazing product

Very nice beginner kit brush comb hot come everything you need to start taming that beard! I love the fact the oil and balm are natural 2 to 3 ingredients. I suggest using the hot comb on low setting because it gets hot!

I got this for a Valentine's Day gift for my husband and we were both pleasantly surprised at how much actually came in this package. There is quite a bit and all of it is pretty nicely packaged as well.The shampoo and conditioner have a nice smell to them and are not overpowering which is great because a lot of these out there now days are. The brush is very well made and doesn't fall apart like a lot of cheaper ones I've gotten him.Only a couple of things that we wished were different was that the blade to the razor was just randomly thrown in the box and at first glance we didn't even think that it came with one so he almost threw it away. And the straightener handle gets a little hot, like you can only hold it for a few seconds before you have to set it down. It works okay but you've got to do it a few times, especially if you've got a lot of beard like him.Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend if you're looking for something like this.

Got the product early love the kit it comes in and the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. Husband loves the wooden comb in it and is excited for the straightener! Plus he likes the free ebook! Thank you for making my v-day gift a hit!

I bought this kit for the actual hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, oil, and balm). Overall the actual hair care products work amazing. The shampoo and conditioner smell amazing and left my beard feeling great. The oil didn’t make my beard itchy and the balm kept it tamed. If it was just those things I would give this a 5/5. But the kit is where I have mixed feelings.The brush had fiber strands coming out already, the directions for the hot comb straightener were for one that i didn’t have, the comb feels like plastic even though it is a wood one (it feels weird to me), the blades for the razor and the scissors I received were different than pictured, and the business card in the box had 2 different websites and neither of them were real sites. The scissors and razors upset me the most. So for the razor, it’s a single side half cut razor but the handle and holder has nubs to hold a full size razor with 2 sides that clamp together to hold it within the nubs. So with a half cut razor, it can easily slide in but because its 2 sided for clamping, with the nubs to hold a razor, the blade can easily slide out or move while using it. Straight away I threw those blades out because they kept sliding out just holding it. The scissors are the same kind I receive from a nail care kit. Not used for hair, very short blades and very tight. Not easy to control and would not use them for cutting hair. As for the websites, I don’t need an ebook or videos about growing a beard, but the fact that the websites don’t even work would mean I can’t recommend it to anyone that would be asking about it. Big swing and a miss there.If this review was just about the shampoo conditioner oil and balm, it would be great. The fact that this kit has misinformation, shows products that are not given in the kit, and has a huge safety concern with the razor is why it’s 3/5. Seriously, get different razors or find a way to secure the blades to the provided handle better.
