Skeptic no more!
I was elated to find a pure, organic purple yam powder without any fillers or coloring, but wasn't sure how Ube would come out with this. I have to admit I was skeptical it would taste like the ube I love, but I successfully made an organic, additive free ube that tastes DELICIOUS! I have to admit I was a little surprised. I've made ube from the frozen purple yams and from the Ube mix at the Filipino stores, but this will be my go to from here on out! I was also thinking I would use the whole bag for a batch but I didn't at all so I think it's a good value as well.It seems those saying it had no flavor were expecting ube, but purple yams are just the main ingredient of ube, not ube itself. And it yam is a starch so yes its going to be gritty in certain recipes/drinks. Look up a recipe for Ube Hayala (Ube Jam) and enjoy all the possibilities!

Makes my smoothies a great color
Great for my smoothies, there is a good amount in the package, and no crazy smells. It seems like a great product but I haven’t noticed any huge healthy benefits. Easy to use, solid packaging.

Pure Purple Sweet Potato Powder
I know there are a lot of fake purple sweet potato flavorings and powder available, but I was so happy that this one had no filler ingredients. The color is vibrant. The flavor is definitely there, but if you are looking for something more intense, it may be a good idea to get this for color and use another ube extract for that extra punch of flavor. Will definitely buy again.

Again, this is a splurge, but can be used two ways.
This is great; bag in good shape. Small amount in the bag, but has value as a powder or reconstituted.

Has no taste at all. You cannot taste the sweet potato. Save your money.

Blends well in smoothies. At first I was taken aback by how small the package was, but you don't need that much in a serving.If you're buying this because of boba tea, it doesn't taste like the Taro drink straight out of the bag, but it is very healthy and pleasant. It has a very subtle taste. Would buy again

Flavor not that rich
I got this to make taro ice cream and even when dumping copious amounts of the powder in I only faintly received the flavor I was hoping for.i know it’s not taro but it is purple. It’s okay I guess
