Nothing to dislike with this screw kit for electric guitars, great quality, good selection of screws and springs and a compact sturdy box to keep them in. Recommended.

I used screws and springs from this set whilst building a rough copy of a Telecaster. I was able to find a good match to various original parts, with a considerable cost saving.

Bought these to replace the rusty scratchplate screws on my G&L S-500. There were some screws the perfect size to use as a replacement. Happy with that, the rest is a bonus.

NOT ONE screw is the same/correct length, thread pitch, diameter or head profile as a Japanese Ibanez.Also some of the screws I needed are not included.These were: Machine head screws (not included),string bar screws (not included),pickup switch screws (not included).Neck bolt screws: Screw head too smallHumbucker mounting screws: Diameter too large for Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan baseplate. Installation requires drilling the baseplate and using the screw to retap. Redrilling the humbucker pickup ring may also be required.Humbucker pickup ring screws: Too largeStrap button screws: Too narrow.Scratch plate/cover plate screws: Too narrow/too short.Handy screws such as those for the trem claw, machine heads etc are not included. The only ones of use were the very small truss rod cover screw )of which there are dozens in the box).I've restored numerous Strats (about 20) but recently began work on a Fujigen made Ibanez RG517. It required extensive restoration and rather than reuse the rusted, chewed up screws I bought this kit. It was an absolute waste of time and money and not worth returning because I had too remove the plastic wrapping to access the box.As the screws i chose were black, they are useless for a Strat too.

I don’t know why I didn’t buy this years ago, it has everything you’d need and will last you years.
