Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle – Flip Top Lid with Straw

I absolutely love these for my kids. They are notorious for dropping water bottles and breaking the lids which you can never find replacements for. These lids have a ring of protection around where you drink so although they've already been dropped (GRRRRR) no broken lid (knock on wood). And they keep my water cold all night and through the next morning. Great, smaller bottles!

The bottle is great. It keeps the water cold and the ice doesn't melt fast. My only issue is the straw constantly falls out of the lid. I think it might be too thin.

Unfortunately this bottle did not meet any of my expectations. First, it leaked. I tried several times to tighten the closures but it still leaked. It also dripped when I tried to drink out of it. Worse the advertisement of keeping liquids cold for hours did not hold true. Water warmed in an air conditioned room very quickly (under two hours it was room temperature). Would not recommend.

I was dissappointed by the length of time that the water remained cold. It lasted only a few hours indoors at a 72 degree house temperature. Got me through my workout but not much beyond. Additionally the straw is too short making about 2" of water unobtainable. Attempts to replace the straw or lengthen it did not allow for enough draw.

The water and ice cubes stay cold for over 12 hrs. My only criticism is that the top is small for loading the ice cubes. It's wonderful.

Here's my "late" arriving review. I bought this bottle about 15 months ago. Went to Zirst website and entered my info for the free spare regular cap.Zirst immediately responded and mailed me that within 2-3 days :-D , sooooo.....that kind of customer consideration response/service is always anappreciated thing and I feel a bit guilty over not writing a positive review then because this is the ONLY steel, insulated drink bottle I've owned (out of 6) that does NOT leak ! ! Some of the others leak just a tiny bit, but that definitely creates anxiety ( lost a phone to a water bottle that leaked into my purse once, cheap phone thank God) . This lid/cap has NEVER dripped one single drop, no matter how tiny. I can and do gently but snugly tighten the cap and close down the flip top then drop it into my purse horizontally with no worry. Yayyyyyy ! !r Sorry. Four days ago when I filled my Zirst bottle, as I do every morning, the clear, flip up spout part just broke . Kind of vertically split, dead dead, gone gone. Got online, went to Zirst hoping to be able to buy replacement lid. Their site asks for one's email, name and reason for contacting Zirst; gave them all that and hunted for other replacement caps, which are available, for $8-10. But, are they going to leak ? ? ? That would be just throwing my money away :-( .I didn't order one. The email to Zirst was sent late Tues. evening, around 8 am Wed. Randy Miller from Zirst emailed me to say they usually sell those lids for $8 also (apparently the going rate today) but they would be happy to send me a new one free of charge by that comming Fri.. There isn't any better customer service than that. Today , this same Fri., they sent me a whole new Zirst bottle with flip up , straw lid AND spare capfree of charge because replacement lids weren't available right now. Soooooo everybody, BUY Zirst, they DON'T leak (just tested the new one, NO leaks) and ZIRST stands behind their products like few others. Yayyyyyyy !!!!!!!

Excellent company to purchase from. The bottle is exactly what I was looking for. I needed to replace my workout bottle and was always annoyed with the fact that my previous water bottle could not fit into the cup holder in my car. This bottle fits perfectly and is a great replacement for me. Performance of the bottle is also top notch. I have owned many insulated bottles in the past and this one surpasses them all. Plus, the seller also sent me 2 additional screw top replacements - for free! Now that's awesome!

Leaked my Gentleman Jack whiskey in my suitcase. If I'm gonna smell like whiskey for my entire vacation I'd at least like to drink it first. Doesn't seal very well.
