Only used tin once to cut a straight strip of a bigger piece of glass to make a glass thing for a picture frame that has its glass broken. Worked just fine. Lost the “pen” part since the. So probably will buy another wine. I need it again.

Works like a charm! I’ve been using it to cut glass for picture frames and it’s been an excellent performer - I can cut as little as a 1/2” strip off the edge of a pane with no shards. Be sure to use some oil and make a single pass with the cutter and you’ll be able to snap the glass with just light pressure. Excellent value.

This is a good quality product that was exactly as advertised. I have now used it several times to cut pieces of glass. I filled the oil chamber with appropriate lubricant and it flowed as needed to the cutting point. The glass cutting went perfectly, but the user does need to know how to apply appropriate pressure to the cutting tip and then carefully break the glass along the score line.
