A nice wrench for quickly removing/replacing fasteners in cramped spaces
This is a very thin wrench, and it is nice to use in tight spaces. However, the thinness of the lever is tough on the hands causing pain when loosening a very tight fastener. On the positive side, the finish is nice, and the ratcheting mechanism is quite good. I plan on using this wrench only to remove already loosened fasteners, because the ability to quickly ractchet in close quarters is a very desireable feature (and use another tool for loosening very tight fasteners). As of early 2020, I will update this review if the tool fails to hold up to use (and that may or may not happen).

replaced a 14mm I lost from a gearwrench set I bought about 15 yrs ago
Bought this to replace the 14mm I lost in a gearwrench set I bought at sears about 15 yrs ago. I knocked a star off because the design has changed a bit, and not necessarily for the better. Don't get me wrong, it still feels like a great wrench, but they've made the head on the open-ended side thicker. I guess it's stronger now, but I never had one fail, and the thinner heads fit in places my other wrenches don't.

Decent
Purchased in 2019 and was good for a couple of months. But after that the directional switch will not stay on counterclockwise on its own, and I habe to hold it to the side while turning the wrench or it switches back to clockwise on its own. Got use to that but now the ratcheting insert is loose and is close to popping out soon. Only Gearwrench brand ratchet I have so hopefully it's just that I got a lemon.

It's a wrench.
I bought this (and a few other sizes in the same line) to fill in the missing sizes in a set. I'll call myself an 'advanced amateur' in the shop, meaning I'm building or repairing something every weekend and some weeknights, and when I need a tool, I but the tool. 16mm is not a very common size and most sets don't include it--some brands don't even offer individual wrenches in this size. It works as expected and didn't cost a lot. It seems to be reasonably well made, although I'll own it for years before I determine if it's as durable as my dad's tools (most of which are now in use by his grandsons). It's a bit shorter than I'd like, but that's mostly a matter of preference--shorter wrenches fit in tighter spaces.

Great tool
I got the 16 mm combo wrench because I lost mine somewhere along the way and I need this for my oil changes. I haven't had a ratcheting wrench like this before and found I really loved it. Where my oil pan is, a socket wrench doesn't work, but this is perfect. Seems well made - I hope I don't lose this.Yeah, you can get a cheap combo set for the same price, but a good tool will last and this is worth it.

Chrome chipped from new
Haven't used it yet. I'm sure it works great and will last many years (hopefully). The issue is that before even removing it from the plastic packaging I noticed that the chrome has chipped off a small spot at the rachet end. Not big enough of a deal to return at this price but I would have liked it to have been in perfect shape when new.

WOW, I love this thing!
I love this thing! It is like it was made just for 14mm hex head bolts! To my surprise, it also works great on hex nut requiring a 14mm wrench! You can put this thing on the head of a bolt and turn the bolt, who thinks of this stuff? Just amazing!

Better than expected
Great wrench, great bang for the buck. Seems nicer than harbor freight or modern era craftsman. Ratchet mechanism feels very fine and plenty sturdy. Amazing value, at 1/4 the price of SK and 1/5th the price of Snap On or Mac.
