Very useful and easy to setup the timerbut I am not happy with the inlet socket. The design is very poor to fix it with a tap

Absolutely easy to install. Good build quality. IPX5 water resistance. User friendly interface. The one major flaw is that if you have a terrace garden it may not work. Because, the valves used in this timer require a minimum pressure to even open! Majority of my plants are on the terrace and so the height difference between the water tank and tap is just barely 7ft. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough pressure for the valve to open. As much as I like this product, I'm sad to have to return it and look for a timer that probably uses ball valves instead of solenoid valves, to bypass the pressure issue.

I am very satisfied with the purchase, was away from my apartment for a month and the device took care of watering plants. After returning to apartment also no need to water now, the setup is working perfectly fine, I can schedule frequency and duration of water supply, pipe and drip nozzles supplies was more than sufficient

Ok so my setup is a small 2 balcony garden. I have about 30 odd plants put together. Primary reason for me to look for such a product was to automate the water schedule when I am away on vacation for more that a week in the summer. I have installed Elitech drip irrigation kit and have introduced this timer into the system.1. Installation : I made some changes to the existing Tap (needed a plumber) and did the rest on my own. See images.2. Programming : Comes with 3 separate programs. Easy to setup if you are used to setting up similar devices, even a clock. However there is no user manual. This is clearly a Aliexpress/Alibaba item being sold by elitech, so I managed to find the same in Aliexpress and figured out how to set it up.3. Testing : I installed this 2 weeks before my vacation to see if it is reliable. I used the manual watering mode for couple of days and then arrived at an automated schedule. Switched to automated schedule (3 times a day for one minute each). Worked like a charm4. Customer support : until you buy the product, the seller response is great and friendly. however after I purchased the products, none of my queries got a response. So I am unsure , at this point, if the warranty related queries will go through. this is a big minus5. While on Vacation :This is the real action. I installed a Camera over few of my plants and monitored the same remotely every evening for couple of minutes. Everything worked great until one day the valve did not close after a scheduled watering time. My potting soil is well draining one so I the container started to drain. there was water all over. I had to call my neighbor/watchman to go into the apartment and manually close the valve. I had to get the timer reset by reinstalling the battery (battery level is fine). I had to reprogram it by guiding my neighbor over phone. Now is back to normal, but the POINT IS, THIS IS NOT REALLY 100 RELIABLE. If it works it works well.I am still away, but I guess if the plants are valuable to you, like they are for me, you might need some monitoring and fall back plans in place in case something like this happens.

Value for money. Absolutely worthy

Initially it did not work. the out flow was so slow that all the plants were not getting water. Then I realised the inlet water pressure was not sufficient for it to work, since the water supply tank was only about 5 feet above the controller level. I had to spend some money to install a pressure pump and motor, but then it works well now. I have been using it for almost a month now, and there is absolutely no problem. It starts and stops at specified times exactly. My hassle of watering plants is gone. For those who have sufficient water pressure, it should work just fine. In my case, I had to spend some extra money for the pressure pump.

Hi, water outlet is not stopping after the timer is off. Just installed the product and it was fine for first 10 days. It’s causing overwatering to my plants . Please replace the unit asap. It’s useful but due to malfunction, unable to keep it turned on. Please help asap.
