Absolutely Works!
This kit was a very effective way to repair a zipper. I had a heavy thermal jacket where the pull handle broke off of the zipper. After doing some research I decided to try this product. (Note: There are 4 different kits available.) The type of zipper I had, and the number of teeth did not really match any of the specifications shown on the comparison chart. However, I chose to match the number of teeth per inch (TPI) and thought the Outdoor kit would be my best bet. The instructions were very detailed, and in depth. I appreciated the guidance, since this was the first zipper I ever repaired. I also liked that it was a USA product. I felt I would be getting better design and quality materials. I had three possible choices in my kit that were very close to the original pull size. Due to the repair method, I was able to slip a pull onto the zipper, and try it, without going any farther. (Great option.) It was the third one I tried that actually worked. I can't tell you what was different, since they all appear almost identical. But when you can try them one at a time, there is no question when one of them works exactly as needed. The kit pieces and pulls are strong, well-made, and have nice quality finishes on them. I especially appreciated the videos provided by Amazon which I could review prior to purchase. I only needed 2 pieces out of the kit, but it was totally worth the cost to repair my jacket, instead of having to buy a new one. Take some time to select the right kit for your needs. But this product DEFINITELY works as described! I used a small side cutter, a small needle nose plier, and a small slip joint plier to complete the project. It took about 15 minutes.

Zipper is good as new!
I was able to replace the zipper on my coat and it's good as new! Why throw away a perfectly usable coat when you can fix it for the price of this kit? I did end up using my Irwin Vise-Grip GrooveLock pliers to crimp on the top stop, as I wasn't able to get enough leverage with the needle-nose pliers to get a good crimp.

great quality sliders, great price, confusing instructions
Once I figured out what to do it fixed my winter coat very nicely. Deducted one star for confusing instructions, layout was just too helter skelter for quick easy reference and also lacked important tips such as how to determine if your zipper is coil or teeth or how to match the replacement when you dont have the original slider or more importantly which side was front for a double slider. Took me well over an hr to figure out how to put the slider on but once I got it to slide on the zipper the rest was easy. Could use more stops for so many sliders. great value and great quality

Easy to use and sturdy
I needed one zipper slide and bottom stop for a very long nylon coil zipper on an odd shaped bag for a collapsible soccer goal. The existing slide had fallen off and both ends of the zipper tape were disconnected. I was able to choose from these sliders and watch the videos which were very helpful. I used the bottom stop to secure one end and then stitched the top end together to make sure the slider would stay secure on the tape. It works perfectly and the repair is sturdier the the original installation.

NON RETURNABE
The Box of zip pulls came in an envelope and was crushed. One item was missing. I Did not find a zipper that would “repair” my jacket zip. The small print said it was non-returnable! Lesson learned. Had to source a different item zip pull.

One of the best tools in my sewing repair arsenal
These repair kits are absolutely the best. They work, and there are videos that explain exactly how to repair all kinds and styles of zippers. We live on a ranch and it seems like outerwear zippers are always failing, so I'm the official zipper repair person here. I recently saved a pair of Carhartt cover-alls for a friend. The zipper wouldn't zip on the leg. Just a few minutes and I had it fixed for them. Delighted!

Great product and great customer support
I bought the outdoor kit and the #10 double pull slider. The #10 worked perfectly for fixing my large wall tent zipper. This is a great product, Zipper Rescue has good How To videos, and the owner is super helpful if you contact customer support.

Great product! This is the real deal!
This pack comes with an assortment of repair pulls. they work great, are durable and were easy to use! Thank you! I was not looking forward to having to replace a good zipper becasue of a bad pull, and becasue of this kit, I didn't have to! The company has a few different packages, each with several combinations of pulls, so check that the package you order has the zipper size you need to repair

as i had broken my duffle bag and was using it as check in luggage on a month long trip i didnt want to spend money on a new bag. Thankfully this kit was delivered to my guesthouse in 2 days, and i managed to repair my bag and complete the trip successfully and the bag is going strong!! Easy to use kit with simple instructions - totally recommended. Now will repair two sleeping bags with the spare parts left. Excellent value!
