When it works - it's great.
I purchased this for Passover and was very happy using it. I took it out again to use for Shavuot and it wouldn't get hot even though the light was on.It must be some type of manufacturers defect ( not working after the second time ). Unfortunately I cannot return to Amazon as it is past the window of return as it was purchased in April. I am very disappointed as this cost me 150 dollars.

This is such an incredibly simple design but so very smart. I have a small kitchen with not lots of counter space and this Hotmat takes less space then the other warning trays and actually fits larger trays of food. Love that this unit has separate warm and hot spaces which do a great job. I also really like that it does not go above 400 degrees, which can become a fire hazard when left on for several days of our Holidays.

Works great, stores well. We did have ours simply stop working after a few months, but after contacting the manufacturer and providing the details of the original purchase we received a replacement very shortly. Great product and customer service.

Does not fold completely as described. You cannot choose to use all as a warming or as hot plate or regulate the temperature in any way. I returned it.

Don't ever buy this brand
I purchased mine in Amazon Canada (seller is Canadian Shoppe) 3 months ago and it broke down. It just suddenly stopped working. They wouldn't even replace or refund it. The seller told me to contact the manufacturer directly because they don't have warranty from the manufacturer. I tried so many times to contact the manufacturer but they wouldn't even answer my messages. I am so disappointed with this product and brand. I will never buy this again or any product that this manufacturer will sell. It's too expensive not to have warranty!
