The title of the book is a bit misleading. It contains some basic functions and techniques for a number of languages but doesn't go into any real depth. Probably more of a handy basic reference than a book that instructs you on how to master a particular language. Can't really recommend it.

Terrible book, your not going to start basic and advance to anything. The book fails to explain tidbits of code used in its exampled leaving the reader lost. At best this book is a primer for someone with prior experience.
